Now how many of you were ready to start ranting about getting carried away........ Ok, ok its a slow day at work...
One can dream, but I think that's a dream too far. Don't think this season will be as cut and dry as we'd hope, but it should be slightly less stressful than last season. But when we do get in to Europe, "We're all going on a European tour, European tour, European tour".
Like you wouldn't believe mate, and i'm here till 11:30 tonight........Im gonna be brain dead by the end
Maybe dreaming of european matches might be a bit premature, but by all meanings you are allow to aim high. After all Stoke and Fulham did play there so why would that be impossible?
Not a silly as it sounds really. We might not finish high enough in the league, but we've as good a chance as any of winning the FA or League cup, so who knows.......
That's a serious shift staines. Keep the head up. I had a twelve hour shift yesterday with six kids (not all my own). I am still not the better of it.
Well the second half is overtime 'cos they are expecting bad weather her so I can't complain really. 12Hrs with 6 kids !!!! Bloody hell mate, I'd rather do 17hrs here to get away from my 3.... And they ARE mine
if we can't dream then i am giving up ... a new season means a lot of optimism and i can ensure you that fans from the 20 clubs are all wishing and dreaming... I think we will claim the fourth champions league spot no bugger it lets win the league
..and this time we'd get to play at LR or new HQ. Was at Highbury for Reykjavik and Belgrade games, top nights but strange with so few people in there.
I assume we are talking Champions League here rather than that drossy Europa thingy that Fulham had a go at, right?
To be honest mate, the ones to the far reaches of nowhere would always be the best ones. When i followed England abroad every Tom, Dick and Trevor went to Dublin and Amsterdam.....but not many went to Albania and Hong Kong. Keeps a few of the idiots away and a good way to meet fellow fans.
How nice would it be to get a home country team in a Euro competition? We could actually make Jeff Stelling's famous phrase come true: "They'll be dancing in the streets of Total Network Solutions"...
