This has probably been brought up before, but I include a poll! :D

I know its a really blunt question, but if to say we sell Enrique and we dont get a replacement for him... Or we dont bring in any player for the team for that matter, is the problem so huge that we will be relegated in your eyes?

No, I don't think we will be relegated. Worse in the league than us. If Ashley has given pardew the top 10 as a target though, reaching that would be out of our grasp in my opinion.

Not in a million years, unless something happens internally which causes morale to collapse.

I can't see past QPR, Swansea, Norwich or Wigan for relegation to be honest. I don't even think Wolves and Blackburn will be in a dogfight with them for very long.

We wont get relegated, but we wont progress at all. Probably finish 14/15th.

There would still be numerous clubs worse off than us even in the event of the worse case scenario, Enrique leaving and not being replaced. If nobody left and there were no more signings i still fancy us to marginally improve on last year and sneak into the top 10.

With the team we have now we have no business in the bottom 3. Think we have the best midfield in the league outside the top 4 (and maybe Liverpool now) including subs, so if they can control matches we should be able to survive. I hope for top 10 with the squad we have and with a new player or 2 MAYBE challenging for UEFA...

Even if we do not sign another player (I think we will though) if we stay majorly injury free I think we can get top 10, and if we bring in a new striker and lb is Enrique goes then I think we can get top 8, again if we mostly avoid big injuries.

No. As previously said we've got one of the best midfields outside the top 6 ( including Spurs & bin dippers ) Cabaye, Tiote, Barton, Gosling, Ben Arfa, Jonas & Marveaux. I think with another striker, maybes Erdinc, we could possibly push for top 8. Then the higher we finish the better calibre of player we can attract.

Can't see a team including Cabaye, Tiote and Ben Arfa going down, too much quality there. Besides, Cheick wouldn't allow it.

Exactly this! The only thing we're worse off in is upfront and even without Ba we managed to score a fair amount of goals in the 2nd half of the season. I can see this being a fairly decent season all in all (unless we sell Tiote and Enrique without any replacement!)
