Put them away from home to half decent opposition and they are a distinctly average team and if we win on Saturday I remain confident we will finish above them. In fact I'll go on record in saying if they lose to us they won't win another away game all season. Big few weeks for us now. Spurs will park the bus at the Bridge as usual and play not to lose so we need to be patient. We are overdue a bit of luck against them and if we put our minds to it we can win this. I told the Spuds all along once they played some half decent teams they would falter. They were never realistic title contenders and Arry had them punching way above their weight. If they don't finish above us this season IMO they never will. We've only played well 5 times this season, changed manager and have strikers who can't score and an inadequate midfield.
More importantly DL --if we dont beat the Spuds, not only will we not deserve the top 4--it will then become a miracle if we end up in the top 4!
I have resigned myself to us not getting top 4 now. Even though Spuds are falling their fixture list is too easy for even them to screw up and we have some games I don't think we'll get anything from. If I'm honest I think Newcastle might even catch us. We will win the FA Cup though.
I couldn't give a shyte about finishing 4th. Play the kids then hammer the jumped up ****ers in the cup.
I wouldn't go quite that far but Chelsea were definitely sub-standard to us today. If only Adebayor/VdV had their finishing boots on - we'd have won that 2-0
