Think we might be looking at Pogba, but i would be just as happy with Veratti.

Agree, I think Veratti is brilliant. Khedira on a free has got to be tempting for any big club this summer as well.

Pogba for me. Have you seen a lot of Verratti beside PSG-Chelsea games?

Any PSG player will take an age to get up to speed with the premier league. The opposition they face every week is laughably poor.

Pogba was trained here and is perfect for the Premier League.

Would there be a more terrifying midfield trio to come up against than Matic, Kondogbia and Pogba? If they held hands they'd probably stretch from one side of the pitch to the other. They belong on an ice hockey rink!

BBC reports Jose is after Andre Gomes a fellow Portugese, and creative midfielder. Reports are he's great in defence as well as an attacker with strength and vision. Under coach Jorge Jesus, he has been fantastic.
Gomes gives all the credit to his coach.
" Jesus taught me everything about the game, he's a specialist in tactics, one of the best"
Gomes didn't give his rating for Jose.
Reminds me of the (very ) old joke about the sign outside the Church, which said " What will you do when Jesus comes to Chelsea?"
Under which someone wrote, " Put Costa on the bench and play Jesus up front"..

what is with Varane rumours? Real will be stupid to get rid of him.
That will easily be the second worst stupidity next only to Manure's Pogba sale

Fergies principles were nobody is bigger than the club and no player dictates to the manager. He would not back down to a kids demand for game time, probably regrets not doing more to keep him now but then no player should demand/expect to play in place of players in a winning team, especially a kid. We have always been known for giving youth a chance and Pogba had played a few games as sub but looked like a rabbit in headlights, he had shown in the youth team he had the talent but needed to allow himself to be eased in, he wouldn`t wait.

I don't agree completely... Pogba was asking to replace Anderson, Cleverly, Scholes et al.. Lets not kid ourselves..
Fergie didn't buckle against players who were past their best - Keane, Becks et al.
He managed to hold on to Ronaldo, Rooney, even Keane during their troubles when they were at their peak.
Alteast had a good contract to get paid like Ronaldo's.

Pogba's case doesn't fall under any of Fergie's past situations. You cannot draw parallel.

Pogba demanded guaranteed playing time before he would sign a contract, Fergie would not guarantee anybody playing time so, the contract ran down and we lost him.

Seriously if i could go for anyone i would sack Oscar off and get Coutinho. As for someone to give us more presence in the middle, chuck Willian in there or if you want someone new who has more of a presence and is solid i'd be up for khedira, henderson, mascherano, sissoko, schneiderlin.

Obviously Pogba would be the best or unrealistic ones like Kroos, Modric

all good options. But it is beyond me, why Victor is not getting any mention. When he is younger & better player than our own Mikel.
He is as good as Morgan. It is not like Kenya are going to qualify for AFCON every single time. I don't see any negative. He is under the radar and we could add him EASILY unlike others in the list.

I do like wanyama. Solid and an absolute beast. I think with schneiderlin we would get a bit more craft. If we were going more defensive i would prefer wanyama but i wanted a more complete midfielder in morgan

Problem with Captain Morgan is there may be a bidding war. Don't want to pay more than reasonable.

Spammers CM / DM pair is also decent. Definitely a step up from our pairing of Fab/Rambo/Mikel. If not Pogba - we have fair few who would available.
