Non-news in my opinion. Even if he was to leave Manure, which I am almost certain he won't, he won't be returning to this club. His days as an Arsenal player are over.

Can't see it happening to be honest and with his injury record I'm not sure I'd want him back, especially if it was at the expense of us getting a new striker.

I'd take him on loan for the rest of the season though.

And as an aside, check his favourites on his twitter account. Says a lot about where his allegiances lie. Horrible character.

he is on 250k a week at man u, say what you like about him wanting to win things, i still think money had a lot to do it, no one else will pay him that now, so he is stuck there.

He can **** off and rot in mid-table obscurity. Few tops teams will take an aging striker, especially on the wages he's on... even if he takes a pay cut. I hope that ONE PL medal is worth it. When we lift the title this season, it will feel even sweeter.

    Cant see it.

I would say Falcao is more likley than RVP returning.

Hard to see RVP make a comeback to us, but I'd still take him back. He's pure class.

He WAS an amazing player, but I like the team better without him and not focused on him. I know the thought is that he would come in and that we would score more goals (as many as he would score more than Giroud), but I can't help feeling that everyone else would score less and that we would be more one-dimensional and easier to stop. Plus, I like the team spirit this team seem to have and I'm not sure having one of the old crowd in is going to help.

In addition to that, his old injury bug seems to have come back and he isn't getting any younger.

We have never had an unlimited budget, and I don't believe we do now. I would much rather we spent the money on a younger, healthy striker that fits better with the new Arsenal than the old.

I say he's still pretty damn good. You don't turn into a bad player just because you're playing for tw*ts.

Anyway, my comment was tongue in cheek and the whole scenario will never happen!
