There are too many car washes between manchester and Liverpool for him to ever make it to Anfield. Don't get me wrong, for 6m he'd be an addition as long as we were not putting off getting a primary striker, he'd be an option. Though again, retention strength and technique are lacking. He does move well in and around the box so in essence forget him in buildup and he pops up in the box. We don't play that way, he would need to be involved in all aspects and his game is far from complete, for 24 he is underdeveloped. If United had got him 7 years ago we'd be looking at a very different player I would say.
No, not for me. United wanted a goalscorer, like us, and, rather than give the 'little pea' a chance, they bought RVP. I don't see why should do any different. There are plenty of other options out there if we look. Few people in this country were touting Sahin, and practically nobody knew of Assaidi, before this season, but they've come in and been fantastic. I'm sure there are some striker equivalents out there.
