I for one would like to see the individuals outed and out of the club. Watford is something we have passion for and prima donnas can go play with themselves in the naughty corner. Need a Fergie type of attitude in the management and players not injured who don't give 110% should become injured with an untimely kick in the wotsits... Angry doesn't explain it!!!

Agreed - get rid of them - we do not need players who do not have commitment - I don't care who they are. I suspect it is partly down to a lack of respect for the manager but that is no excuse as it also shows lack of respect for the fans

They should be made to work on the new stand.

Its hardly surprising there is a lack of communication with all the different nationalities.

I can see the players being upset that their jollies had been cancelled but they should have checked I guess with the management.

Can see both sides of the argument but sadly it only affects us fans and leads to negativity as we saw.

You would likely change your mind when you found out who it was who complained and have subsequently been fined for not attending the match. The press have exaggerated it all, it was a debate yes, but hardly a row. Bare in mind some players wont have been home in months. Even Deeney said after QPR he hadnt been home in weeks. There needed to be a compromise and one was reached. I am sure that 2 out of the three do care, just have not seen their families in months and wanted to see them.

I think that there could well be a conflict of interests here. If the team had made the playoffs then they would have had to be involved over the coming couple of weeks. If they didn't make them then they thought they could go off on their holidays. I doubt that many of them use lastminute.com and had already decided where in the world they would like to be.

Beckham thought he was bigger than Man Utd and got shipped out. Don't think we have anyone quite in that class, but the players really did let themselves and more especially the fans down. For Jon Marks to suggest that players on Saturday looked as if they didn't care really shows how bad things were.

It seems that we have a number of players who think that they are better than they are, and almost certainly think that they know better than the manager. The last part of that could be right, but they are paid to play and not manage. There is no player who should be above the manager and if they think they are, they can go, no matter how popular they might be.

Boo hoo. They should try working on an oil rig or submarine - see how often they get home then. Sorry - I don't care who it is - they acted like spoilt brats and let themselves, their manager, the supporters and the club down.

They take holidays when their bosses say they can and had no right to make commitments until told they could. I hope they go - even if it is Deeney - nobody should think they are more important than the club.

Poor little mites, only on over £5K a week and were asked to spend another week to go over what a mess they made of the last few games - my heart bleeds for them. They chose the live of a professional footballer and chose to base their families remotely from the club they play for...classic toy throwing and explains a lot about the way some of them have played and behaved.

Hardly likely to have been Deeney, Leo - he did score......

But you're right - any dissenting voices should simply be asked to quickly change their tune or leave. Their adverse effect on the team were there for all to see & there's simply no place for it. Personally, I think it goes deeper than "but I've already booked my holidays" - a feeble excuse that really doesn't wash. Neither does the 'away from family too long' thing. That's a common thing and has been for years, a case of you do what you have to do - have had plenty of such experience myself having spent up to a year away from family in places such as New Guinea & Groote Eylandt, for far less financial rewards too.

Whilst I wonder who the three are, I can't really be bothered trying to work it out by process of elimination....

I'm puzzled about something up to 8 days ago we thought we might be in the play offs..........so how come some players were booking their holidays when the season is clearly NOT over. Could some of them have deliberately thrown the games so they could shoot off on holiday, I'm sure that's not the case but it does make you think.......

Deal with it all the time in my industry. The guys are well paid and I have no sympathy at all. Work hard play hard and that means in contracted time do your best for the employer, the lads didn't!!

Both were at the game so they werent fined. They may have been annoyed though and involved in the arguement but I cant be certain.
