it's diving cheating bastards. And what is with the f****ing Chelsea scum giving Anton abuse?? absolute w*****s!
Well said frome, Ferdinand is th INNOCENT party in all of this. I think you will find it was probably 10 hardcore Chelsea booing and the rest young chavs on their first away outing following like little sheep.
That's the first time I've heard that used as an insult since Primary school. Come on that's a pathetic little insult.
I thought it was very soft personally and not a pen in my view, very similar to Helguson's last time. I haven't had the benefit of replays so can't say for sure. I didn't appeal though and not many did around me. There was no abuse of Anton Ferdinand either. If there was it was probably 1 or 2
It was far more than 1 or 2. I was at the other end of the ground and heard the songs and boo's. It is disgraceful that Ferdinand has had to put up with all this considering he has done nothing. He has acted superbly throughout this - not one single public interview or comment. Thats not me being biased, its the facts. He wasnt even the one who complained to the police. So why is he being made the villain by a section of the Chelsea fans? Take a look at your own so called captain and role model for kids.
There were a few boos but most did not boo, why should the majority be blamed for the actions of a minority. I and others around me in Z6 did not boo Anton once and rightly so. Footballer players aren't and shouldn't be role models for kids.
Footballer players aren't and shouldn't be role models for kids.[/QUOTE] District, I've been following this forum for a while and thought you were quite sensible but that quote is astonishing!!!
Were not blaming the majority mate, but it is sickening that anyone would want to do that. As I said Ferdinand has done nothing wrong and gets all this abuse. I heard boo's lound and clear and alot of "Anton, whats the score". Not direct abuse, but clearly aimed at affecting him. I would certainly not boo if it was the other way around. I cant believe anyone has any respect for Terry as he has proven in the past just the sort of person he is. And argue all you like, Football players are role models for kids, even if we dont think they should be. He has to understand his behaviour is just unacceptable. I remember a interview with Bellamy a while back when he said "I dont want to talk about Terry, as off the pitch everyone knows what he is like. On the pitch he is a great player, but off it everyone knows what he is like".
District, some of your fans were very poor, loads of them sang Anton Whats the Score and when we called Terry a racist they responded with Engerland, they were also throwing coins at X block
