and Brucie does get the boot today then I thank him for the work he has done at the club. On the whole the bloke has done a canny job for us, he has transformed our playing staff for the better since he arrived and we have seen some good players play in the red and white stripes since he arrived at the club with the likes of Lorik Cana, John Mensah, Darren Bent, Asamoah Gyan and Stephane Sessegnon (shame only 1 of them is left). In hindsight after a pretty terrible second half of last season Short should of moved Brucie on then, the bloke would of had a good rapport with the fans after getting us a top 10 finish but with the way the season went from around February onwards you could tell someone wasn't right and it would of been better a new man coming in having the funds from the Bent and Henderson deals and being allowed to push us on that next step. The longer Brucie stays the worse his relationship with the fans will get as I cannot see him turning it around and that would be a shame because as I say on the whole he has done a good job, I dont condone the fat geordie ******* chants that were sung on saturday but if thats the only way we can get him out of the club then so be it, I would even take a thumping against Wolves if that was the only way Brucie would get the sack. Doesn't matter who the manager is there time comes sooner or later when they can't take the club further and Brucie's time has come it is now time for a manager to get us back on track for the remainder of this season and next season then improve us that bit further. Time to get the cheque book out Ellis and make a huge statement and get one of the top guys in, didn't Ancelotti say he would of managed West Ham just to stay in England if they never got relagated, now that would be a statement to the rest of the league that what has happened is not acceptable and we mean business. A manager like that would not only help us attract better players but would help us look for potential investors as we seem to be doing with the recent trip to South Korea and others planned for the future.
Brucie does get the boot today then I thank him for the work he has done at the club. Nah, He can **** right off.
Seems it's just rumours at the moment.
Ancelotti is pipe dreaming kidda. The like of him wouldnt even consider us as an option. He probably doenst even remember where we are. His kind would manage Leyton Orient if it were in the smoke but he wouldnt come to the far flung regional outreaches of Sunderland in a million years. MoN is a much more realistic and ready made replacement for Bruce imo.
