If,as being reported ,Tevez doesn't leave City do you think they would still buy Aquera?
I know they have the money but would they need him?
And if so would that put us in a stronger position to sign him?
He 'reportedly' would prefer a move to Liverpool but do we need him, could we afford him?
I think it would be a phenominal signing for us and send a shiver through the rest of the league but would he come.

i think city will buy him anyway looks like tevez will leave in january unless another club comes in, so really they may aswell buy him now anyway get him settled rather than buy in january, its not like they cant afford it.

I don't believe for one second that he has some affinity with Liverpool Football Club??? He might like the club but at the end of the day if City decide to throw £200,000 a week at him and can offer him Champions League Football then he'll go there. Same can be said about Juve and Real who are after him as well.

Anyway, where are we going to get £40m+ to buy him? We'lll swap Jovanovic, Cole, Aquilani and Poulsen (although I think Poulsen might actually count as a negative number?)

If the rumours are true and City want £50M for Tevez if an European club comes in for him, I can't see him leaving. To be perfectly honest, i'm bored of reading the paper every day and finding out that Tevez has moaned again.

If he does leave, at least we won't hear him moan every week.

    In my opinion.....

All Argentinian players should be banned from the PL. If they are not moaning they are playing ****, if they are not playing **** they are useless.

Tevez is the best argie ever in England as well as the worst moaner.

I can't see any European club going for him until Aguero has moved. Think about it, your Jose Mourinho and you have a choice of £40m for Aguero or £50m for Tevez. Who would you go for? Maybe if City tie up the Aguero deal and a few clubs might want Tevez then.

I bet Roman Abrahimovich is kicking himself now, he spent £50m on a striker in poor form when he can buy two others for either the same or lower amount who are much better and on top form.

And anyone else notice how Real Madrid are in for a striker EVERY summer?

How highly do you rate Diego Godin? He's being linked with us in quite a few papers, would he be a good signing for the apparent £13m?

would love Aguero but i really cannot see it happening! would be a hell of a signing tho just imagine:

    Suarez---Aguero
    Carroll

Gotta be up there for one of the best attacking lineups in the world and with Stevie, Lucas, Downing and Adam they should all score a hatful!

We bought him for £7m last year and he said in an interview yesterday he doesn't want to leave (although De Gea and Aguero did the same!) If you bought him he would be quality for you as IMO he is a top quality defender. He is only about 6ft but managed to outjump Pique on every corner. Tackling is good but sometimes needlessly jumps in in stupid areas but overall very good. One player I hope doesn't leave, because he is our best CB and a decent personality unlike Aguero

Yeah he has now, but a couple of months ago he said something along the lines of: every summer I am linked elsewhere yet I am still here dont worry Atleti fans I will remain for till atleast 2014. There is more to football than money and personal glory I want to become an icon here
