win the league, will this hasten Mr Wenger's depature? Will this make his position untenable even within his most ardent supporter? The team will probably scrape into the Champions League places is this enough.

I am just wondering what would make Mr Wenger leave of his own will?

Maybe the team could hasten his departure.
I understand that they are baffled by a lot of his decisions and team selections.
Also rumour has it that Sanchez and Ozils contract talks are on hold as they need convincing that the team will be able to compete for honours in the future.

there would be no way back for him if they do, i think a lot of fans have already given up on him, but if Spurs win it, then many who are the fence will probably turn against him too. how can he possibly come back from that? over 10 years with no league, constant bottle jobs, this being the worst one, and then Spurs win it.

even if Spurs don't win it, they will finish above us, and i don't see any way back for Wenger from that as well, it shows how far the apple as fallen when we finish below Spurs, with all due respect to them. yes, Spurs have upped their level, so give credit where it's due, but we have also dramatically dropped our level as well which is why the odds have been evened, we have not been improving, we have gone stale, stagnant, and are more towards the downward trend rather than the upward trend, which is why teams like Spurs-Leicester are finishing above us, and why West Ham are chasing us for top 4.

i'm so sick and tired of Wenger, the man needs to realise it's time to go, he doesnt have the support of the fans, and not even the players too, if he did have the players backing they would not keep bottling it every week making him look even more dumb than he already is, they are not fighting for him, which shows they too no longer have faith in him and his outdated ****tard methods.

the man at this point is greatly ruining his legacy, he is not going out in a good way right now, this season has been bad, and to have one more year of it? he will not be remembered fondly after that, but will be remembered as the has been manager who stayed well past his sell date keeping us stale and below Spurs.

RVP left for the same reason, instead of blaming Wenger and the ambitions of the board we blamed a professional who wanted to win major honours in his career.

Frankly I would much rather Ozil leave if we're not going to significantly strengthen in the RIGHT areas. It's heart braking watching such a beautiful footballer and the chances he creates wasted on the utter tripe that Wenger felt was a sufficiently strong strike force.

I mean Theo is a complete a joke.

If Sanchez-Ozil want out, I would not blame them in the least, you need to put a team out there for world class players, not have them play with average wannabes like Giroud-Ramsey, and defenders who can't defend for ****

How frustrating must it be for someone like Sanchez and Ozil having to look up front and see a donkey like Giroud as their striker, when previously they were feeding players like Ronaldo, Messi, and Benzema?

We need a clear out, Walcott, OX, Giroud, Mertesacker all need to be sold, Rosicky, Arteta, Flamini should not have their contracts renewed, and the good thing is they arent, but in terms of the other 4, if there are suitors out there willing to pay good money, I'd get rid of them all. We could easily sell Walcott-OX for good money since they're English which automatically inflates their price.

It obvious the club hierarchy are content with the club's fortune. If Wenger secures top4, we all know it is mission accomplished for them. It also seems Wenger himself will decide when his time is up, sadly I really cannot see him leaving. Which is why I wondered out loud what would make him do the decent.... And just go.

It is amazing that Spurs look likely to finish above you.
I think the league will not happen even that Spurs are arguably the best footballing team in the league.
Spurs have been the lowest net spenders in the league over 6 years as we have a tight arse
    chairman but a great manager.
To be fair arsenal have spent pretty big in the last 2 years but Wenger looks like fat cat and a
puppet of the owners philosophy . Maybe your support has become to middle class , soft ,
jumped on the bandwagon with the success of 12 years ago and have lost the verve to take on
    your wig wearing owner .

Completely disagree that they players aren't fighting for him. There are big improvements needed from our players, tactical improvements needed to the team and better players needed in some postions. But saying they don't have faith in him and aren't fighting for him is a load of bollocks.

Meh... Not sure it is. When you watch them (and by the sounds of your posts after each game saying you missed it you maybe haven't that often lately), quite a few of them don't look like they really give that much of a s**t.

There's no evidence either way that they do or they don't care or have faith ... But I don't think it's unreasonable or bollocks from what we see on the pitch to be of the opinion that they don't.

Fair point, I haven't seen them play much recently because I'm working on Saturdays. I just think the idea that they don't give a **** is a weak one. Convenient to describe our indifferent form, but unlikely to be true.

But do the players actually believe in Wenger and his methods? That's the ****ing question, when we are struggling, do they look to Wenger for inspiration? Some teams you can clearly see the effect of the manager, just look at Spurs under Poch or Liverpool now under Klopp, and the prime example of Athletico under Simeone. Wenger is done mate, deep down you know that, but you can't admit it for whatever reason, he needs to leave this summer or we are in for the same **** next season.

I think there's a massive problem with the 'mental strength' that we hear Wenger go on about, because his teams have shown very little of it to be honest. I think they are still playing for the manager, but tactically he's been found out too many times now. And yes I agree that his time is coming to an end.

Load of bollocks is the bullshit you keep spewing, have you not seen our results? How many games we have dropped points in? The results speak for themselves, they are not playing for him, so quit your delusions because it's gotten really stale now, you're bullshit talk doesnt fly anymore, just like Wenger, your excuses are up.

Now go get pumped up about fighting for top 4 and catching Spurs.
