    ....without rangers, how did divisions 1,2 and 3 in Scotland survive so long without them?

    Exactly! The idea, that a world without Rangers FC would disintegrate, is an insult to all smaller clubs. When one thinks of fans of smaller clubs, not only in Scotland but throughout the footballing world, who travel the length and breadth of their countries in support of their clubs which win little or nothing, the arrogance of such an idea is mind-boggling.

    Personally, I'd be surprised if they do disappear - Whyte appears to have won the first round albeit forced into administration before he intended but I suspect the creditors will come to an 'arrangement' and the club will be bought over. Of course....I could be wrong. :undecided:
