...it will hurt more than Nasri last year. I can almost see it now: RVP smashing in the goals week in week out and being the toast of MOTD. Oh God, it's almost too dreadful to think about.

Would be funny if he did an Adebayor against us.

This would be the worst scenario. I still have faith that he'll do the right thing and go to another country, if he leaves. He genuinely loves the club, so he'll move abroad.

it seems my worst fears of Ivan the terrible and a tightwad Board, in league with Wenger are taking our club down the road to mediocrity.

I'm trying to think in a light-hearted way of the situation we're finding ourselves in almost every year where one of our top players leaves (usually for City). :emoticon-0148-yes:

I wonder where this Arsenal team will end up when Wenger leaves? After RVP's departure, we will stablise over the next few years and even come close to challenging for a few trophies. However, i can see the same cycle repeat itself. Unless things change now, i can see the very same thing happen again. Any of our top players that have reached world or near world class level will leave. Loyalty goes so far, when you show nothing for your efforts then it's time to leave and players like Wilshere and Cesney will leave.....

  12. That is what I fear too, the inevitable slide and exodus which is why this silliness by our CEO has to stop. The man needs to go. He, the board and that majority shareholder whose family loves London so much. These types care not as much for our club as how the balance sheet under their tenure looks. If our performance slides so will our balance sheet. What remains then? I shudder to think.

lol as others have said, imagine RVP scores against us, then him and Nasri and Clichy all join hands running towards the Arsenal fans, remember like how Henry and Pires celebrated with each other in the Champions League against Celta Vigo I believe it was, when they joined hands raised. Heck, even add Adebayor too, he's still a City player. And then Adebayor starts doing his dance and they all start dancing too.

hahaha yes, this would be funny. Would make conceding a goal against City much more amusing.

"Like lazarus says, if he loves the club, he'll go abroad."

The problem is no foreign club will pay 250.000 a week.

    Juventus, let's say 120.000 a week, City 250.000.
    Difficult... difficult...

(you simply can't blame RvP choosing for City)

If he ends up earning less that £130k pw at his new club, I will wear a spud shirt every Saturday for a year.

2 years left on his contract after years of 'injuries' finally has a good season then he can leave for cheap. Get rid, never been that good, did you see how laughable he was for holland? Yuo'll be better off without tbh, shame you can't fully cash in though. Typical modern footballer, loyal to his accountant only, same with the boards tbh. People can slate Chelsea and City, but they seem to have the only chairmen that actually love football.
