Evening all, Question for you, if Rooney leaves, will he be replaced? If not it leaves us with 3 "full" strikers + youth whereas 4 recognised strikers seems to have faired us better in previous seasons. Could it result in a change of formation with just RVP upfront?
It'll be the other way round imo. Rooney will only be allowed to leave after he has been replaced, and will only be allowed to leave for a PL rival if we have secured a superior replacement, like Ronaldo or Bale. In other words he will almost certainly be going abroad once the signing of Fabregas, Modric, Fellaini etc is sorted out.
