If it did happen will they ruin him like most other strikers they buy?

It you called that ruining Drogba I think Rooney would live with it.

Torres was a lame duck before he moved. Ba just hasn't delivered but he ain't there that long.

Still think Rooney will stay at United and have a good season as well

He did say most other strikers. Other than Drogba, it's hard to think of a striker who's gone to Chelsea since Roman and come out the other end smelling of roses.

Mutu, Crespo, Shev, Kalou, Pizarro, Sturridge, Torres and Ba are hardly strikers to set the world alight, are they?

Chelseas successful strike ratio is 1 in 10.

A striker is 9 times more likely to fail than succeed at Chelsea.

Crespo was ok. Mutu as well. But we boot drug cheats out. Sturridge was far too greedy. Shev was shot when we got him. Torres ws half decent last season and Ba we have yet to find out about. Piarro was **** and Kalou wasn't that special. Don't really think it was us that ruined them though.

Mutu the cocaine head? Hardly Chelsea's fault
    Torres was already crocked
    Shev was 30+
    Kalou never had it
Not sure about Pizzaro know fk all of him
Not sure why Sturridge didn't do better there, he has shown some real quality since his move.
Ba has just not had enough time and came from a team that played to his strengths, Chelsea are not.
Can't remember Crespo's spell with them. can't comment on him

So yeah, not sure about Pizzaro and maybe you are right about Ba

I think the claim they are ruining strikers is way off and I'm not one to defend the chavs <ok>

I think Chelsea have the habit of going for the wrong strikers in the first place rather than ruining them.

Forgot about him. One of the best strikers in the world at the time, winning all the plaudits and scoring hatfuls. Then he moved to Chelsea...

They dont ruin strikers, strikers just go down the pan there. Some are already on the way out while others go to Chelsea as hot prospects and end up as forgotten players.

Drogba is the only one who has done well, very very very well of course but to even suggest any of the others have been anything other than average is stretching it.

Did you get a hard one over the Torres signing or the signing of any of the other big money strikers? Or did you wisely forsee their failings?

Seriously?! One of the best in the world?!

He was playing in ****ing Holland..always a risk if players can step up! Never once heard anyone regard him as one of the worlds top strikers.
