We were 4 points off top spot when Rafa arrived, now we're 14 points off, with a game in hand.
We lost away against West Ham, at home to QPR, and lost the world Club Championship. All 3 games were winnable.
Seems to me Rafa is repeating his Liverpool mistakes. Win some tough games, then lose some easier games, a pattern very visible at Liverpool.
In 2 of the games, WCC and QPR, he got the selection spectacularly wrong, a move seemingly made because he doesn't understand Chelseas' DNA. We wan't to win Trophies AND derbies, but we really need top 4 as a priority, so we are at least in for the biggest Trophy. He has failed with our first opportunity at a Trophy, failed to win 2 derbies, and has taken us backwards in our push for top 4. All this has been achieved in a few months.
So my questions to Rafa and RA are these, why are we losing ground in our bid for 4th place ??? If we don't achieve this, the repercussions will be extremely serious in terms of future player signings and income.
We all know we're work in progress, know our squad is not yet there, but are we moving forwards or backwards or simply standing still??
Could RDM have done better Roman , and have you stuffed us up again, or will Rafa get the job done ???

The trouble is, RDM knew from the beginning that rotating our squad would be disasterous, so he played the same team thought and wrecked them. Then Rafa comes in and starts rotating the squad more drastically. Boom, points lost. He'll learn that the first 11 is going to have to remain pretty constant in the PL and leave the rotation for the cups and EL.

agreed, basically we have a weak squad. where would we be if mata had of been injured the past 6 weeks? take him out and we would be mid table. scary.

You ain't really losing ground in the race for top 4...you are 1 point behind us and we are 3rd and you have a game in hand.
You lost 1 match after winning 4 ... it happens...yesterday EVERYONE (media, fans etc.) were talking about how chelsea could be right back in the title race and today they are being slated...truth is chelsea are neither as good as was being suggested or as bad as is being suggested...
United City and Chelsea are nailed on for the top 3 places imo

We are now seeing the reasons why true blues are united in the condemnation of RDM's sacking! The chickens are coming home to roost!
