If Portsmouth should fold and their results are voided where will this leave cardiff ? West Ham would loose 6 points with Cardiff 4 but Southampton, Blackpool & Middlesbrough only 1. Cardiff would fall to 8th. Teams would have only 44 games each. whats wrong with pompey putting out youth teams if the senior players refuse to play whilst not getting paid? it would be an utter disgrace if it gets to the stage where our 4 hard earned points against a team still living beyond their means are voided. the administrators are saying they are trying to ensure they fulfil the fixtures.
I agree they may have to play the youngsters. The problem is they might not have enough money to allow the company to trade until the end of the season. In that case all their results will be void.
Tax man will most probably be the one to put them out of business. They have a run of fixtures against lots of the playoff contention teams coming up. Hope they make it, regardless of how its been run they have hugely loyal fans, wouldn't wish losing the club you love on anyone!
