We could have got Paddy Kenny instead of Smithies and Ingrams Rotherham manager Neil Warnock signs goalkeeper Paddy Kenny... for a FIFTH time http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
So Neil have finally lost it. And signing Doyley as well, that goal he scored against us after 3000 games without a goal must still ring in Warnocks head.
It's a bit of a silly OP because Neil would have had Smithies so why say we would have got Paddy when we wouldn't have?
No we would not. If NW had been in charge we would be in a better position and he would have got the team fighting unlike the surrender monkeys i watched last week.
Such a pity I can only 'like' this post once. If we had kept NW instead of sacking him the first time (quite why is still a mystery), we would be an established premiership side by now. Not necessarily being managed by NW, but he did enough good work first time around for us not to be the bunch of wimps that we are now. I'm fuming at the lack of spirit that we saw on Saturday. Yeah, we might beat Bolton, but our recent record under JFH is appalling. I'm hoping for **** all this season and will be glad to see the back of it.
Warnock has a record for getting clubs promoted that is second to none. His record of keeping clubs in the top flight is abysmal.
Watford you should have quit when you tried to support Mackie. I was embarrassed for you trying to convince us that he was our saviour. Now you are talking more rubbish about the best manager we had this season.
Mate I was only joking. I strongly doubt we'd have signed a retired Chris Morgan or a 39-year-old Michael Brown. The results under Warnock were reasonably good but bloody lucky and dismal to watch. That Reading game was a great way to finish but it relied on their keeper throwing the ball in after nearly a whole game with no strikers and barely a shot against an awful team who were about to sack their manager.
i Okay Watford i just deleted my follow up post NW did a good job at QPR without spending millions on wasters. For me getting the best out of Adel says something about him. I am also P'd that we sacked Benny and JFH is no better.
neil warnock was never a one trick pony he was one of four managerial geniuses that have served qpr over the past 57 seasons that ive suppoerted qpr first was terry venables second jim smith third gerry francis and fourth was neil the greatest was terry venables when he took qpr in the first season he looked so aberage buying players like barry silkman from palace for 12 thousand pounds but he put maclintock and george grayham into the club in season two and got qpr to the fa cup final he actually got hucker neil dawes maconald out of our youth team and dropped them straight into the first team then he onloaded one of the most exiting teams ever to appear at loftus road full of exiting goalscoring players and using the youth team players as the powerhouse in his final season he got us to 5th in the prem and because we had so many brilliant youngsters we stayed in the prem for our record 13 seasons warnock our fourth managerial genius took us over as we were sitting on top of the relegation zone and without spending no big money he simply threw scolding tea at his players when they uinder achieved he was so unlucky that briatore and ecclestone took so long to finalise there sale of the club because we has played 20 games in the prem and were in a terrible state looking back on it all now if the sale of our club has been a smoother transaction he would have been given 30 million to buy some fabulous tallent and ive no doubt he would have still kept us up in the prem
So Alec Stock wasn't a genius? His side was arguably the best of the lot from where he started. Without him we'd be still scrapping about with the Orient in lower league obscurity. And he gave Yeovil one of their greatest giant-killing runs in the early 50s, he was a true managerial genius...
I welcomed Hughes as he is still class but it didn't go well NW and money may not of mixed IMO after all he had money yet who did he choose to buy?
Warnock brought in Luke Young, Armand Traore, Anton Ferdinand, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Joey Barton All of them given massive contracts that I believe has cost our club 35 million quid
