Two months ago I was saying,"When we go down", now I'm saying, " IF " SOD I'm a believer...... please log in to view this image
Shame McInnes wasn't sacked in December, Most could see where we were going with him, SOD has now won me over, I was a little hesitant at first but the performance are better then when McInnes first took over. and Tuesday night was a great display by our boys. Lets hope they keep the momentum going for Saturday. A MUST WIN
I must admit I only changed my mind about McInnes about 2 weeks before he was sacked - sadly it looks as though if we did it earlier we would have given ourselves a better chance. It is "IF" at the moment, but make no bones about it, this will be difficult. SoD has done a great job witrh the players he inherited (only Maloney added to the squad) - our run-in is not too bad, but we need to win games.
There's no "IF" about it...we will stay up, so come on, cut out the crap, be positive not negative! I too was right behind Del Boy, thought he would turn it around & always believed in him, I was proved wrong, for if SO'D was in charge from the beginning of season we would have been in the top ten!
I think we will just miss out. No doubt SOD's doing a magnificent job with the squad he inherited but the Board sat on their hands to long.
Cardiff fan, I look for your results after ours and hope you win, you put in some good performances and you probably helped our cause a few times so good luck. jck
Will we stay up or go down? The only definite thing is it won't be decided on these boards. I think in percentages; before SOD I was 80% we would go down. Right now I am 35% we will go down. With every game my confidence changes, but our performances are now like teams at the top not the bottom of the league. If we keep them up we might just do it. The thing is all we can do is beat what is put in front of us and hope the results go our way.
You are not alone smhbcfc. I still felt at Christmas that he would turn it around but perhaps it's the watershed of a new year and a realisation that more than half of the season had gone and without a very quick change in fortunes we were doomed. But that's my last reference to the recent past. We all now have to give every bit of support to our team and hope against hope that we do manage to survive at this level for another season at least.
I still think we have left ourselves too much to do.....god knows we are trying though! We are certainly doing our bit, but every time we dig out a result, some other bloody team at the bottom does the same and just cancels out all the points!.........
I wonder what the table would look like if you took the last 10 games only and made them into a league. I guess thats like a form league, so one must exist. Probably Barnsley and POSH would be in the playoffs. Watford top by a mile. Bolton up there, and we would be just outside the playoffs. where can I find this table?
Ahhhhhh the SoD doubters are changeing their opinions. Fantastic news,as said we have one of the best in this division. I just hope bigger fish do not come knocking in the future. Bristol two football club have two excellent managers at present.
http://www.footballformguide.net/form/npower-championship there is is. And look at that, we beat the top team and kept the 2nd place team to zero shots on target. And we beat the team in 4th place. Millwall and Blackburn are clearly suffering from the prospect of a Cup Semi-Final coming up. ...and we think Boro are in a slump, but they are only 1 point worse off than us in the last 6 games.
