So I hear a lot of people saying TP has taken us as far as he can and I happen to agree. Question is, who can take us to the next level? David O'Leary? Martin O'Neill? Glenn Hoddle? Kevin Keegan? I name these guys just to start a debate. Personally, I would only want O'Neill, but I don't know whether he would want to be Stoke boss. Discuss...
new poster just after responses PS sgt just read a few posts on 606, seems like a few people are against youre views, tell them come on here & read my threads
If not Pulis then I would possibly go for Chris Hughton or David Moyes. You may say Moyes wouldn't come to Stoke but I believe he would, Everton have very little cash available for him to spend and create a decent team. As for Hughton, he's a top top coach who would be able to find a balance between attack and defence as well as buying players who are better than the cast-offs and not on par with them.
I'm used to it mate to be honest, doesn't bother me like it used to, they don't much like me, but they hate this board even more, they think it's too chummy and that everybody agrees with each other.
TP all the way for me. HOWEVER, guys, I am prepared to answer you. IF not Tone, then Martin O'Neil, TOP guy
I think most of "them" are actually posting on here too Sarge, to be fair. I think you're a top poster on both sites
Sarge, You are a top poster. That's why you and Potts are mods. You thoroughly deserve your place, and I know you won't let silly people who disagree with your views so strongly affect you.
Talking of people disagreeing with me, me and Oatcake poster bayernoatcake had a bit of disagreement when I posted this about Fuller: "I hope the FA decide that they saw the Fuller incident and ban the ****er out for a few games, absolute tosspot, absolutely hate the guy." Needless to say he took offence and professed his undying love for Fuller, especially with these two comments: "He did more than Carew & KJ did in 10 minutes I thought." Which had me dumbstruck. His other comment was nothing short of just plain silly though, here it is: "he could murder someone and I'd still have him in the team, he is that important to us." I mean that's just silly I really think some Stoke fans have Wenger-like selecting viewing and short-sightedness when it comes to Fuller
That disagreement was on Twitter by the way not the Oatcake, which I didn't mention in my initial post, I don't post on the Oatcake regularly outside of the transfer window, in fact I've only posted once on there since the end of the last window. If I posted what I said about Fuller on Twitter, on the Oatcake, I would most probably get death threats I would imagine, such is the love for tosspot Fuller on that site.
