Lots of talk about graham maybe/ maybe not coming. My question is if we don't get him then who else we in for seems a lot of eggs in one basket for me and there's only 4 days left.Must admit it concerns me as we are very light up front.

Sell Wickham and Fletcher to QPR for £30 million. Re-sign Nyron from Watford. Appoint Steve Bruce as Master Tactition, play 4-4-2 with Nyron and Cuellar upfront.

Before you laugh, Nyron has scord 2 goals for Watford and Cuellar has scored a header for SAFC. You know it makes sense.

Charlie Austin, tom ince, Matt Phillips to name 3 lads I'd be happy to see.

The lad from Vitesse Arnhem. Wilfried Bonny who 83 has been on about. He looks a beast.

Our world neither starts or ends with Danny Graham.

I still think we will sign Graham myself though. No doubts about it.

Got a feeling we'll graham on Wednesday morning and that's it. Really hope I'm wrong on both counts.

    Graham will sign for us

the thing with Graham that is putting people off is because he is a **** for what he has said about us

the lad is not that bad of a player, I wish we were after better or after someone on loan as a stop gap until the summer when we could get a top striker but at the end of the day if Graham had a fancy name, came from brazil, had long hair and never mouthed about us we would all be hoping the deal would come off.

Never questioned the lads ability once. In fact I actually think he's a decent player but the baggage he will undoubtedly come here with, due to those comments, could be more of a story than his on field exploits imo.

I really think they are insurmountable but am happy to be way wrong on this should he prove otherwise.

No offence but he's bonkers if he goes and he's even more bonkers if he goes to you. Swans fans love the guy and by the looks of things it'll be an uphill struggle to win you over. Why bother? Unless it's for the dosh.

We have a real chance of Eurpean football next season and our bonus system is one of the best in the League. Yes, really.

You never know, but don't count your chickens just yet.

    m'on effect

I'm sure I just heard on Sky Sports News that Laudrup said he's likely to stay at Swansea, was having a piss and listening to the tele from another room, but fairly confident I heard them say that!

If its Graham for 5m or nothing then I hope we get him because wed be in deep do do if Fletcher gets injured. We've had all season to scout though and if Danny Graham is the best our scouts can cone up with we need to think about branching out a little

He's neither the best player nor the worst player out there. People wittering on about his 'baggage' etc and he will do a Chopra or a Clark, its all ifs and buts. In truth he's no more likely to take a **** on us than any other player. Take Gyan or Bent for example, did they have anything history against us? One or two good eggs doesn't necessarily mean that there's something wrong with the chicken. And vice versa. It basically comes down to the individual. And I personally would be very surprised if he did decide to take a great big steaming dump on us from a great height, due to the fact that hes had to work his way up from the lower leagues and is here on merit. Players who do this tend to have less egotistical issues etc.

I do think we could do better, however as a stop gap I think he would do well.

(Soz, someone was talking about chickens)

Hooper is another option and is younger although he is unproven in the PL but performances and records show he looks likely to adapt but could command a nigher transfer fee than Graham but if he comes in and does a Cisse/Jelavic then it would be money well spent.

    Aye mate

@MsiDouglas: Via @timlewis01: Michael Laudrup insists Danny Graham "will probably stay" at Swansea. #safc http://t.co/7mgjiVWU

Just been speaking to jordan pickford, was like trying to get blood out of stone, confirmed bent was up here last week, doesnt think we'll sign graham, said alot of talk around zarate, says they never get to know anything until the deals are done, i got the impression he knew something, said the new polish keeper is an excellent player

I would rather we sign either Gary Hooper or Shane Long instead of Graham

we still need 3-4 more IMO before the window shuts if we get an injuries we will be ****ed.

How do we all know our eggs are in one basket?

I cannot believe a manager with MONs experience would let Campbell, Saha, Ji etc go without having something concrete.
It may go to the last day, it may be 1-2 strikers that have never been mentioned at all. Lets just let them get on with it and trust them to have done the business by the end of the deadline.

MON got the main man imo early on by getting the CM beast we have all craved.
He's also got another giant at CB, once again what we asked for. These may or may not work out but tbh it got me quite excited

I fully expect most of us to be even happier come Friday morning.

We will sign someone by the end of the window I just hope its the right person for us. You never know he might make a late bid for Hooper. I think we missed a trick not going for that lad who went to Leicester: Woods, he is banging the goals in, I know its only in the fizzy pop but he looks a very decent finisher.

well I cetrainly know why Ji, Campbell and Saha have been allowed to go......Because he did'nt and never was going to....play them, so what's the point in them getting (around) £80,000 per week between them. If Fletch gets injured he would play Wickham on his own and then Sess, on his own. not confident of getting anyone other than a stop gap on loan. dissapointing. Although Graham has just said he wants to leave Swansea and maybe trying to foarce adeal.

Ticketape on SSN saying that DG has asked to leave Swansea for personal reasons. Not sure why this would suddenly be reported when he's almost certainly going somewhere efore Thusday night.....
