I reckon theyll be the 7th team to top the table so far .. Brighton, Blackpool, Blackburn, Palace, Lester, Cardiff. So far with a 3rd of season gone it doesn't look like anyone is going to storm it, with teams right down to Wolves maybe you could make an arguement for being at the sharp end by the end of the season. Anyone capable of beating anyone each week. So what will it take to get auto promotion? About 85 points? And the play offs? 70 - 75?
Boro taking tackiness to a new level- goal music, pigbag, drums and now cardboard signs with "goal" on it.
Those smoggy twats need something to enjoy I suppose, no matter how annoying it is to visit the Riverside and listen to Yankee-ised music. As to the thread topic, I think there's gonna be a lot of change in the top 10, and January will make or break it for some sides. This is where the transfer market comes in handy. Some players may leave sides and put them out of the picture (Austin-Burnley, Eagles-Bolton, Ince-Blackpool etc) and some may make some lethal additions that just gives them that extra nudge of firepower to propel them into the picture. This is a massive, massive test, where the energy of the side will be needed to the bitter end. Unfortunately that's where we might slip up with having such a small squad, they're going to be knackered!
The place is a total dump, I dread having to drive through it to get to the missus house. However, there are far worse clubs than Boro.
Hate middlesborough myself ... Goes back to the early 70s . Lots of Agro between them and us .. Same with the two Sheffield clubs ..
