If they held out and won the league, would you feel happy for them?

All the usual big boys seem collectively inconsistent this year, could this be the year that the title goes somewhere different?

Seems to me that the power of team spirit is proving it's value at Leicester, no superstars, but huge belief and a desire to win.

I admire what they're achieving and I'd be delighted if they could achieve the unthinkable.

I would like to see them
    Palace
Stoke and Watford top the league
Then the big teams missing out on Europe means they would finally go to there European superleague

Hope I'm welcome guys and girls! Honestly, I think in the current day and age the bigger teams will always rise to the top, you might get someone surprising in Europe but definitely not title winners. It'd just be great if we finish in the top 8 tbh but even that'll be a challenge. Good to know we have a lot of people behind us though. Hope you guys can put a run together and push on

I think most of the football world would be ecstatic. I certainly would be!

The chances of it happening though are very low. Being able to carry that form over a full season would be incredible.

I suspect that most Leicester fans are still not waiting for the 40 point mark rarther than concern themselves with matters up the top end.

Mind you, it's already a season that will be remembered by them for life. Like Rangers fans who didn't experience 75-76, Leicester fans of the future will keep hearing (quite rightly) about Jamie Vardy & the class of 15-16!

I would be dead jealous but delighted for them. Was really pleased that Vardy got the record on Saturday.
Had Hughes been the wiser and more sober manager that he is now (at our expense) there is a reasonable chance we could still be in the PL.
Oh well, at least we beat The Massive Leeds.

If they could get top six it would be great. I'd be delighted for any team winning the league that isn't called Chelsea.

Vardy's "record" doesn't count for me, because this includes several penalties where he's grabbed the ball off the regular penalty taker. I appreciate it sounds petty, but it just feels more than a little manufactured for me. Had he been the regular taker, or had all goals come from open play, then no problems. It's just that he filled in some glaring gaps with penalties that - in truth - weren't his to take.

A little harsh there Chaz, he never grabbed the ball off of anyone, he was offered the penalty by the regular taker

Perhaps the vardy/penalty situation sums their position up nicely. Breaking records and making things happen with a real team ethic/more than the sum of their parts.

I'd love it, and wouldn't feel remotely jealous if they managed it, or a top 4 finish. Might show the football world how ****ed up it's become in it's pursuit of success.

It's the story of the season and I hope it continues. Just can't believe Danny Simpson is contributing to it, though my Leicester mate says he is near the bottom of their favourite players list. Mahrez is a very good player indeed, Drinkwater is playing out of his skin, it's not just about Vardy.

    I'm jealous.

Ok - you're coming across as a bit of a Scrooge.
This is someone who just a few years ago and for quite a few was plying his trade at non league level. He plays for a team that is either used to being towards the bottom of the Premier or in the Championshit, he has scored in 11 consecutive matches but yet you crabb because he took a couple of pens, as did the previous record holder who just happened to play for the best in the country having never played other than top level.

You yourself remarked that you may come accross as petty, I merely remove the doubt for you from this easy to judge case. It was not meant as a slant on your character - merely a chuckling manner to highlight this obvious case of pedantry, miserly and yes petty piece of writing.

Come on Leicester - and Vardy, and The mad Ranieri et al.

You're wrong. Against Watford Mahrez grabbed the ball and was going to take it and Vardy stood back. 32000 Leicester fans shouting later Mahrez offered the ball to him. They've taken about the same amount of penalties as each other so I'd say they're equals
