...(please Huw, please)...how do you think we'd line up?

    As I understand it his system looks like this;

    ------------------------------- ST ---------------------------------
    ------------------------------- TQ ---------------------------------
    -------------- B2B ------------------------ B2B -----------------
    WB ------------------------- AM -----------------------------WB
    -------------- CB --------------------------- CB ------------------
    --------------------------- CB/SW --------------------------------
    ------------------------------ GK -----------------------------------

Very, very excited by this prospect.
Diamonds and triangles everywhere on the pitch.
If we pass the ball well and quick 1/2 touch and move together as a team we should dominate possession and the chances created in games.

Of our current playing staff where do you see them fitting in?

Can see both Taylor and Naughton maybe struggling with this, think we would have to look for 2 genuine wing backs who can both attack and defend. Not sure we have a natural sweeper either.

    ------------------------------ Gomis ------------------------------------
    ------------------------------- Ayew -----------------------------------
    -------------- Siggy ------------------------ Ki ------------------------
    Tabannou -------------- Leon/Cork ----------------------- Rangel
    -------------- Ash --------------------------Fernandez --------------
    ------------------------------ Amat -------------------------------------
    --------------------------- Fabianski ----------------------------------

Bench from; Nordfeldt, Naughton, Taylor, Bartley, Cork/Leon, Shelvey, Grimes, Montero, Routledge and Eder.

    Which positions would require strengthening?

I know my opinion isn't that warranted on this issue Swans (being an Arsenal fan) but I seriously think there's little wrong with the players you have, they're just not performing as they did last season. Maybe a new manager will get the best out of them again...

    Positions:

    GK: Fabianski or Nordfeldt?
SW: Amat or Fernandez or even, dare I say, Leon?
CB: 2 from Ash, Fernandez, Amat and Bartley
RWB: Naughton or Rangel or Tiendalli (has he left?) or even Ayew?
LWB: Taylor or Tabannou or Montero?
Anchor: Leon or Cork or Ki or Shelvey or Fulton?
Box 2 Box Midfielders: 2 from Ki, Shelvey, Siggy, Grimes, Cork?
Trequartista: Ayew or Routledge or Siggy or Shelvey (surely not) or Montero?
ST: Gomis or Eder or Ayew?

There isn't much attacking threat there though. I just don't know whether I like this formation as our squad has been assembled for something totally different and would need a complete overall.

Montero and Gomis were amongst your best players last season and at the beginning of this. Gomis was scoring for fun. So what happened?

He lacks effort and is not prepared to work for his goals and lives offside. I believe all the so called hype went to his head and just thought it was easy, he needs to take a long hard look at himself and start putting some effort in, maybe then just maybe a few goals will come, though I doubt it.

As for Montero our last manager didn't see him as a starter, that coupled with the fact that when he starts he is the only natural winger we play with and go by a fullback it was easy to double up on him. When we moved Ayew inside and had 2 natural wingers on the pitch they are much more difficult to pick up.

I am not counting my chickens but if he does come in it will be interesting to see his coaching staff.

If we get this guy Jenkins better stay out of the way cause this guy will walk on principle .....I don't actually think talks will go well unless Jenkins just gives him free reign .

Jenkins needs to keep his finger out of training and transfer targets as that is the manager's job anyway. His job is to ensure funds are available for the targets and get the best deal. If I was manager and he poked his nose where it wasn't wanted two words F--- O--. .If Beilsa becomes manager this is exactly what I hope he does.
