Ellis Short since he has been at the club as never wavered into the limelight and been the big I am. Our owner seems to rarely speak but when he does come out and say something he talks sense and he just as much as anyone else at this club wants things to work after pumping so much money into SAFC since he has been here and he must be very concerned about the last couple of week. Now if I was Short which I obviously aint I would call a meeting on monday morning get Brucie and his coaching staff in thank them for what they have done since they came to the club because on the whole they have done a canny job but now is time for them to go, since Brucie has arrived we have had a slump somewhere during each season, once that maybe acceptable but three times certainly aint. The next step is obviously finding the right manager, personally I dont think Mark Hughes or Martin O'Neill are the men for the job, how ambitious do we want to be? I think Ellis Short personally is a very ambitious man and this new manager would be his man not Quinnys as Brucie was. We have been down the British route since Niall came to the club and maybe it is time to widen our net and try something new and go down the route of bringing someone from europe. We also hear about the coaching etc. in places like Holland, Germany, Spain etc. is far more advanced than in England so maybe a man with new, fresh idea's is what is needed to get this club moving in the right direction. Don't forget the premier league is the best league in the world a man with ambition is just what we need, SAFC is a big club all that is lacking and has been lacking for years is a manager to get us to were we should be. Once the new man is installed if I was Short I would tell them they have my full backing and give them a 3year contract with 15m to spend in the January transfer window with money promised in the summer to build there own squad the next thing would be to tie down Sess to a new contract at the club and tell him that good times are ahead for him at the SoL and he has a huge part to play. We cannot afford to lose our top quality players as for Gyan that would be up to the new manager. I like Brucie as a bloke but he needs to go and go asap! if that means taking a hiding next week off Wolves I would be happy with that as Brucie needs to go
whats he pumped in though - buying the club in the first place and the 28 million interest free loan when he did take over? (which he has probably got back by now with the bent and henderson sales)
