Because it was the move of the season and also the Nutmeg of the season. You dont have to be tall to score a headed goal, just a bloody good player, as shown perfectly last night.
Absolutely - it's the second or third header he's scored this season - All in the quality of the delivery - and how happy did he look to have scored (and how happy did Gardner look when we scored) - maybe things are settling down for him. Performance was the best I've seen so far this season - Man City was tremendous but this was different - less Hearts of Lions, more footballers being able to play. Chuffed (again) for Fraizer Campbell - He still looks lightning fast and is like a new £10m+ signing... Still coming down!!!
For a small man Sess does have one hell of a leap. He remeinds me in some ways of wee Stan Cummings, he would always either win the header or a free kick, mind Sess is a tad more skillfull but dont tell tan I said that
whenever he scores with his head, he reminds me of bobby kerr, 'Use your height bobby!' Whilst i know there isn;t much similar between the two, it always makes me laugh a tad.
I think it was Kevin Philips last night who said.. it doesn't matter if you are 3 feet 6 inches, or nine feet 6 inches, if you get a quality cross ...
It was quite funny when Sky showed the replay of the Sess goal, their keeper Ruddy comes out shouting at his defence saying he was this high gesturing with his hand and pointing to his own chest. LOL It's a
Yes it was a quality cross. A guy 3' 6" could still have headed it in and a guy 9' 6" could put it in off his knee.
Lennon methinks marra . What impressed me is Sess actually picked a spot with his header, not just heading it goalward as so many do. Cahill can do that too. As for good littluns for us, I always loved Stan Cummins and his straggly little tash.
