If Holty and Ruddy don't get in the England vs Holland Game then Capello is a Mug!

    and heres why...

    Ruddy
Joe Hart is the England goalkeeper, he's playing for the top team in the country week in week out, he's very confident and hugely gifted

He definitely, positively Englands number 1

    BUT!

What happens if next week he breaks his leg and he's out for 12 months? The answer is Scott Carson!!??? Yes, Scott Carson would be representing us at the european championships. I believe he's playing for a pub team in turkey. Or maybe Stockdale? He did ever so well at Ipswich (although, what can you do with Ipswiches defence, eh?)

Ruddy is the only freely available goalkeeper playing every week for his club and if Cappello does not give him a chance and ensure that every possibility is covered then he is a MUG

    Holty
Hands up whos english and is scoring goals! So it's Wayne whos suspended, Defoe who only scores from the bench, sturridge who isn't an out and out forward aaaaaaaand ... Thats right, The immaculate Grant Holt!

You can say he's got no international experience true but he's proven himself at every other level consistently over and over again. If Kevin Davies and Bothroyd can get a cap then why not holty. You can argue he's isn't good enough if your a fan of a lofty club but He'd give it absolutely EVERYTHING, it would mean the world to him, a trait that isn't shared with many of his fellow englanders.

Cappello, If you can't see that Holty needs a shot then your a MUG

I see no reason why Holt wouldn't score goals for England. He has already scored against top teams like Chelsea and Liverpool. I'm not saying Holt is world class but then how many of the England team are?

Holt would score goals at international level, how do I know this? Because the EPL as a whole is a tougher competition than international football. Holt has done just fine in the prem this year, better than 35million Carrol and 50 million Torres!

johnnywarksmoustache You should be worrying about league one mate, not Grant Holt.

i think ruddy will get called up and it will be well deserved. as for holt, i'd love to see him get a chance and i think he's better than some of the other dross that capello has picked up front like davies and heskey, but realistically i reckon younger players should be selected - we have to start building for the future. mind you, there aren't too many options at the moment so you never know!

Yeah to be fair Holt is good at what he does for us but hes not gonna play over Bent, Welbeck or Sturridge so I cant ever see this happening to be honest. Ruddy though with more consisancey(sp) I think he could be a regular England reserve!

Holt on twitter reckons he won't get a call up now, thinks he's too old.

'I won't too old now hope some of the lads get called up for the country especially Wes it's a joke'
