If Djourou is injured where does that leave us?

I have heard many people say Djourou has suffered a serious knee injury and could be out for the rest of the season. If this is true where does that leave us. Djourou has been superb in the last couple of months and has formed a brilliant partnership with Laurent Koscielny. You saw what happened when we didnt have Djourou playing in the 2nd half against newcastle, he has a physical presence about him and is great at winning balls in the air. I dont feel confident when squillaci is playing, i have nothing against the guy but everytime he starts alongside Koscielny we always concede. Does Wenger loan a cb? can he? or does he recall Bartley.

 

It leaves us in second, 4 points off the lead, with 13 games left to play...

 

And with no hope of the title, because we only have two centre-backs.

 

Gooner Talk are saying he is only out for a fortnight and whilst that is a disaster it is not as disastrous as I first thought. We should find out the extent of the injury tomorrow. fingers crossed

I don't think it will affect us as much against Barcelona. They don't hoof the ball so our CBs aerial weaknesses won't matter that much. I'm more worried about him being absent for the CC final. How will Laurel and Hardy handle Zigic?

 

If Djourou isn't fit for the final, then I would be Song CB. If we play Squillaci CB then we will be trophyless for another season.

And I don't think we can move song to CB, he is too important in midfield
