He has some real affection for Bristol City, so could we benefit in the future, if Moysie takes over from SAF, with some good season long loans of Man U's youngsters?

Odd innit.. only 15 years ago we had the choice of pulis, or david moyes..two great prem managers in their own right but you do have to wonder what moyes would of done if he only had a year or two at city..

Someone on otib asked him about that when he came down last year to one of the events that was organised, basically we've never asked him for any players. So no blame his end whatsoever.

I wouldn't read too far into SOD watching Real B. As much as I want to see us load our academy with a few of their stars it was probably just a trip for SOD to reevaluate some of his coaching skills by watching how other managers do things. A lot of smaller managers do similar things. Former USA and current Egypt manager Bob Bradley studied Fabio Capello during his time at Real Madrid, and much was made of this during the 2010 World Cup match between us and the yanks.

Whatever happened to the association we once (supposedly) had with Glasgow Rangers ? We could have the pick of Scottish 3rd Division stars if it was still going !

Although it can be nice to have friends, or at least contacts, in high places I can't remember anyone really helping us out which just goes to prove that in most other peoples eyes we are a no go area, especially as our new home is in League One.

We have to face what could be a bleak future alone.

Well perhaps Peterborough won't be Man Utd Reserves this year. Though thats unkind they have developed a fair side over the years but having to keep selling players seems to mean they will continue to yoyo between L1 and the championship.

I remember the uncompromising centre half affectionately known "Moose" with great fondness, we could do with a few like him now - here seen at around 4.15 and 4.36 celebrating that never to be forgotten night leading to our first every trip to Wembley - damn shame he had to leave in a hurry.

Hopefully, he will remember us in the same light and look after us...

The one thing everyone is forgetting is that to have a relationship you need a minimum of two, yes Moyes did play for us, but where is the link this end?
He ain't going to sit there thinking I played for BCFC I know what I will ask them if they want some loans.

To get a successful loan arrangement you need friends so lets hope SoD is on Moyes Christmas card list, or any of the other big clubs.
