I have a sneaky feeling he will and if he does, that's me done with my ST.
I'll still go to some games but I'll pick and choose them to lessen the suffering.

I can see crowds of 30,000 if we go down AND that clown stays in charge.

Do you think he will be here next season?

We don't deserve to have the best manager in the Prem.

If he did stay on it would prove once and for all, the despicable nature that courses through Ashley's veins. It would be another middle finger to the fans and show that Carver is not a fan of the club, just another bottomfeeding, lowlife, chancing ****.

I suspect that he will be. That being the case, a lot of people will cancel.

I think he almost certainly will be. I would reckon he is about 8/11 in betting in Mikes head.

Not even Mike Ashley is stupid enough to keep John Carver as Head Coach.

Carver has proved that he is completely out of his depth - although i'm surprised Ashley didn't bring someone in for the last three games - Carver is a bonafide Geordie but simply does not have what it takes to lead a team at this level.

He has successfully made Alan Pardew look like a genius!

If Carver does stay on next season (whichever league we're in) he won't be in the job long!

No matter how much guff and bluster he throws the media, he is hugely out of his depth and cannot possibly expect to be given any more time at the helm.

This for me, 1 point from 30 tells you all you need to know about how good a manager we have on our hands ATM and although Ashley is a tight ****ing prick, he isn't a stupid, tight ****ing prick. If it is to be Carver I can only see it as a desperate ploy to pinch a few more pennies before selling.

You don't get to be worth 3 billion by being THAT stupid.. just cannot see Carver being manager (can still see him hanging around, mind ..advising on set piece's and further developing the best corner set piece in the world ..ie 'The Willo™' ) IF we stay in the prem.

In the championship however, might just be a chance Carver stays as manager, but again, just cannot see how Ashley would want to risk his hard earned (well, exploited and borderline-legally stolen) money and entrust a muti million pound 'shop' to a drooling jackass like Carver ..but there agin this is Mikey-baby we are talking about so no matter what we say or think..anything is possible ..ranging from giving JC a 50 yr contract through to appointing Niall Quinn as General manager, Adam Johnson in charge of the under 15's girls team and Titus as the face for a 'just say No' campaign ..so who the **** knows

I cannot fathom people's comments here. "Ashley wouldn't be that stupid" chiefly among them. This, a man who employed Wise, Jimenez, fought Keegan in court when he was bound to lose, took on Kinnear not once but twice, sacked Hughton, took us down once already, nearly took us down and didn't learn lessons, stood by Pardew after last seasons debacle(s), and so on and so forth. How on earth is Ashley going to suddenly say "you know what, the Liebherr's are right, let's do a So'ton instead"??? Lee Charnley is our managing director, for fux sake. LEE FCKING CHARNLEY!!! He was making Chris Mort's cup of tea and now he's literally in charge.

It's an unmitigated shambles designed to turn the fans off. WE are the inconvenience here. I guarantee the three fcking stooges in charge of this club think that getting the protesters out of that stadium is a GOOD idea.

Ashley won't keep Carver on. He knows that whoever takes over now will be seen as an improvement.
He can go out and hire anyone and a lot of people will be relieved that it's not Carver.
The deal's probably been done already.

Ashley will keep him on to spite us.
There will be protests but at the end of the day we are still big news and therefore valuable for media exposure.

    <laugh><laugh> Great prep work

Saying that maybe even he has realised the less time those useless twats spend with him the better. He knows how to make a turd more smelly afterall.

As an SAFC fan but with the less intelligent side of the family as NUFC fans I hope they get rid of the **** asap and restore a healthy rivalry and some decency to NE football. I hate the ****. and like my brother in law a bit less` Cheers Stuart (my brother in law) ya mag ****! Whilst its fun for SAC fans its embarrassing also and I hope that NUFC get the result needed to make the NE a good place to attract footballers. Cheers!

I don't think he will. Ashley is many, many things, far too many to list here (and besides I am too much of a lady :emoticon-0102-bigsm to say them in public) but he will have seen the protests, he will have seen the results, and he will have seen the impact on his bank balance. I just can't see him accepting a less than full stadium on a regular basis, which is what I think will happen if that chump Carver is allowed to continue to massacre the Club into next season (even if we don't go down).

If Ashley can't see that the crowds will drop if Carver remains 'in charge' and that we are unlikely to ever win another game until we hit the Conference, then quite frankly the man deserves to lose every penny that will fall through his fat fingers.

Not only will there be a big drop in crowds if Carver is anywhere near the team but Ashley's advertising virtually goes out of the window as we won't be on TV
