Of course people might say it doesnt compare to perhaps the ultimate Carlsbergian premiership day that i can recall. The final day of 96-97 season. Newcastle and Arsenal were level on points and had same goal difference before that day. Asprilla and the lads won 5-0 to qualify for Champions league as Arsenal only won 3-1....and....Sunderland lost 1-0 and got relegated (even though they had 40 points). Maybe this is the beginning of Eddie Howes Carlsberg reign.
Yeah, it's been incredible. I bet Staveley and Co couldn't have dreamed that Eddie would have had quite such an impact this quickly. He really has worked wonders so far.
I have no doubt that the goal he was set for this year was to somehow try and get 17th, and might not even have been a sacking if he hadn't. While we've definitely been helped by the abject failure of other teams at the bottom, I don't think anybody ever saw this unbeaten run coming!

Well, seeing as that thread was started six weeks after the unbeaten run started then I don't think it counts! I'm used to Trev cheating like that when it comes to predictions, but you should hang your head in shame DPP!
