I'm a big fan of Carey and still think he is the best central defender at the club.

If Del does not see it that way, then we need two centre halfs.

Fontaine is not good enough, and is certainly not captain material.

Wilson may come good but at present he is not a good championship defender.

    Fontaine again at fault today.

When Carey came on he just took control at the back.

Very strange how Anderson is not in the squad, must say even stranger why he is not playing,he looked quality watching the short time he has played.

Baldock should be a starter, he just looks so so dangerous when on the pitch.

Del needs to start Carey and baldock against Millwall, if we loose this game that will be three on the bounce, not good enough if we want a top end finish.

Hopefully he will have some cover in by Tuesday,we need it quickly.

I felt for big George he started so well, settled well, and what a throw awsome.

I would love to see him back at the gate in the future, looked very useful indeed

I thought the gate was a morgue today, the atmosphere was dreadful.

It was 0-0 when Carey came on? He allowed Tonge all that space to shoot.
It pains me to say this but we lost out because we never had someone like Skuse or Elliott in the centre.

Kilkenny just ain't good enough. Get rid now please. We need 2 defenders or at least one to play with Wilson but Carey is not the answer just not fast enough.

But we lost today because I could see the game plan, play Stead and Taylor to wear the back down after a midweek game, bring on Baldock and Davies to take them in the second half. We could not follow this through due to the 2 injuries. Sat in B block I could see it completely and don't ever want to see someone's leg like that again.

And a final message to all in Dolman if you don't want to stay till the end walk down to bottom tier on 75 minute before the idiots shut the gate and stop getting in my ****ing view. I had a bit of a tantrum today with the steward for shutting the gate.

Despite decent results v Palace, Baadiff and Peterborough we've proved we're not in the same class as Blackburn or probably Leeds or even Forest, and I dare say there will be many more hard lessons to learn this season, especially with our injury situation. Staying out of the bottom 3 is all that matters to me, while Del builds the team. gets to know his starting 11 and people recover.

But we need to also pick up points here and there

Agreed Angelic some of us were expecting to be in the playoffs this year. We need to consolidate this year and push on next. Rome was not built in a day. As much as i would love a great season, nothing worse than getting to the promised land when the squad is not built yet. How many players do we have the could make it there.
