He has always been a thorn in our side, and is in my opinion a very clever footballer...Whether he is what we need as a priority at this moment is another matter.

I agree, Cahill could easily get into Spurs/Liverpool side but I cant see him leaving Everton as he seems a loyal player to Moyes and the club.

Unless Moyes came to Sunderland and brought him!

11 million for a 31year old. I don`t think so. That`s crazy money for someone nearing the end of their career and with little re-sell value.

This..<ok>...he is a good player but his age is a problem, and at that price would be madness...

Also, how do these papers pick up these stories. Moyles said just two days ago that no one would be leaving. Especially his better players.

As has been said 11 mill too much at his age.
I have always rated the little fella though and suggested going for him quite some time ago.

Moorsley, in Everton's case I think the bank's (sadly for the scousers) may have more say than Moyles.

Even if the price was closer to something sensible - Moyles will not be selling and certainly not to a club that will be in/around their level (we hope to be anyway!)

Mate I rate Cahill massively but why sign Vaughan, Gardner and Cahill on top of Meyler, Catts, Colback, Richardson and Sess who can all play in centre mid.

Sign a ****ing winger you ugly, rhinoplasty needing, pork pie eating, Kieron Richardson bumming ****er.

Cahill has been one of the starts of the Premier League, a superb player, but you are right, £11million for a now injury prone player, ageing, and in a position where we have several players is absolute insanity.

I also agree with your spookily accurate description of our Hollywood A-List bothering hunk of a manager.

It's getting to the point where I'm starting to consider cutting my left leg off with a rusty spoon and sending it to his office to make a ****ing point.

Two birds one stone, if he doesn't sign a left winger after that I'm fairly sure he'll probably pick up a nasty case of crabs or the clap or summit equally nasty.

Or he could attach your left leg to one of the right footed midfielders, thus creating a 3 legged 'super lefty'.

    The best kind.

I hear David Silva is particularly itchy.
