my last email tonight, but if anyone going to colchester tom i be very interested to find out how this wordsworth plays like,my mate i know whos his cousen always going on how good he is never seen him play, but heard hes very good,if hes available for a move which i believe he is then surely if hes this good for league one we should be snapping him up with a bid of 800k,he would be the perfect signing to add bit competition for the midfield what people think thanks

You are being very generous with other people's money, Mr Acworth. 800K is a lot to pay for someone who has never played higher than Div One. Many players look great at this level but cannot step up a division. Maybe our own Paul Hayes is one of those (I hope not)?

We have plenty of cover in centre midfield so the only way this might work is playing him left midfield after a cash plus Jackson swap and I cannot see the club pushing JJ out after having made him captain and with our great start.

That could be on the cards next season if we get promoted though.

800k for a midfielder in this league - now I'm sure you're crazy! as for needing competition surely midfield is the one place we are definitely not short of numbers (and good quality ones as well in my opinion!)

We do not need any more midfielders but Wordsworth does score a lot of goals from there!

Morning Guys, as a Colu fan let me give you my opinion of Wordsworth, very good player, the problem with him is that he belives all the hype about himself and think he's the finished article, on his day a match for anyone, tends to drift in and out of games, but when he's up for the battle, not many better.
On another point, could not belive it when we let Johnnie Jackson go on a free, good player who will get a good reception tonight (unless he scores).

<laugh> so that's why they have had such a poor start <ok>

Antonio played really well for Soton. at the end of last season, didn't he cause us a lot of problems at St Mary's?

Think he scored in a 1-0 or 2-1 win against us at St Mary's- might have been the JPT the season before. I'm sure someone will be nice enough to correct me if I'm wrong. Very direct winger, will look to run at Wiggins.
