There already 6 points behind the leaders, and that gap is only going to grow.

My wifes family are all Liverpool supporters and last weekend they still maintain that they thought they could win the league this year.

No chance. Tottenham are looking more likely at the moment, and I was sure that Liverpool would be challenging for 3rd before the season started but they haven't managed to live up to expectations.

Hardly a suprise with Liverpool fans. The pinnacle of delusion, and were supposedly bad for it <doh>

I'm liking their slow realisation that Henderson, who they spent £20m on, is little more than average.

Their squad is overrated! Gerrard (who hardly plays nowadays) and Suarez aside, we are better than them!

Add Enrique and Reina to this and I agree. Those 4 are the only ones that would get in our team in my opinion, maybe Bellamy at a push instead of Jonas.

  12. HA!

Liverpool haven't got a prayer of winning the title vs Maure and Citeh. The highest i could see them is maybe challenging for 4th.

    <laugh><ok> This.

Liverpuddle and King Kenny (<laugh>) will be fighting for fourth at best. But because they are such a 'huge' club pundits and fans will maintain until it is mathematically impossible that this is their year.

Liverpool's squad is largely average with the two players to win matches in Suarez and Gerrard if he stays fit. Man Utd have Nani, Young, Valencia, Giggs, Rooney, Hernandez and Berbatov. Liverpool have Kuyt, Downing, Carroll, Henderson and Maxi. Liverpool may win tomorrow but over a season it won't even be a contest.

It is. Man U, Citeh and Chelski have got the top three places sown up tbh. With the Spuds, Arsenal and Liverpool all scrapping for 4th place, could get very interesting.

Liverpools glory days are over, yes they might be in the champions league via fourth but i doubt that as well.
Spuds for 4th and once L'arse sort themselves out they'll be back down to 6th.They might win the odd cup now and then but challenging for the title ..nah can't see it for a long time to come.they've had their time and i don't think they'll have it again but saying that manure had a bit of a wait 22 yrs wasn't it.
it seems to go in cycles and i can see man city (because of the money) dominating in a few years like man u have.

Maybe Reina but not Enrique. I have been told by several of my overseas clients that Santon is better than Enrique. Ignore the fact that some of them are Italian, it does give me hope!
