    I wasn't at the match last night cos I'm at work, but it was televised here and I was gutted to here some ****ing idiots chanting for PDC, was that our lot? or West Ham supporters?

    Disgrace if it was our lot like and hang your ****ing heads in shame.

    I was in the north stand and I never heard it so doubt it was the WHU supporters.

    I was in the north stand as well and heard the West Ham fans singing his name all night? Unsure how you.didn't hear it Gil. Definitely west ham fans though

    That's fair enough Marcus, it just seemed very loud on TV as though it was our supporters.

    Nah defo west ham mate. It was inter-mingled with "that's why you're going down" which I thought had a certain amount of irony!

    I was inthe concourse and it was WHU supporters taking the arthur bliss, and trust her to score Carroll.

    I think you also have to remember that the TV companies seem to make the away support louder than it actually is so that sometimes gives a false impression as well

    I don't think it's TV companies as such, more that the away element of a clubs support tend to be the more boistrous, buoyant lads.

    I don't know if its that the mikes are closer but my SC is in the East Stand and there is a few times I have hardly heard the away support at the match then watched it on TV and it sounds like they were making the dominant noise

    Maybe, they could do that to generate noise for TV, seems more than plausible like.

    Hold on a minute I am on the halfway line in the east with the safc singers to my left and the oppos to the right - I'm just wondering if my right ear's knackered <laugh>

    I had a right skinful before the match. Maybe numbed and dulled my thoughts, hearing etc. plus I was singing and shouting most of the game.
