A few thoughts after that Sutton game. Morrison looked laboured - definitely not up to speed at the moment. Would you put Pack into the back 3 for Blackpool alongside Flint and Nelson? Sang could keep his RWB place over Ng, but it could be either of Bagan or a vote of confidence in Davies on the left. Bagan back in would be my choice. That would leave midfield with Pack out of the frame. Mick's choice would seem to be 2 from Vaulks, Wintle, Bowen and Ralls (if fit), playing behind the seemingly inevitable Bacuna further forward. Up front I can't see him starting without Kieffer - the question is who, if anyone plays up there with him. Giles must start to provide the pace going forward, but bearing in mind we're away, is there room for another front man at the expense of a midfield spot? Collins for the power, Harris and Murphy for the pace, even Watkins could stake a claim. Suggestions being made that even Vassell is in the frame, but where does that leave Colwill? Seems like a lot of choices to me, but do any sound better than others? Would Mick consider a back 4 instead of 5 to put an extra midfielder in there? Interesting times and bearing in mind there are only 45 Champ games to go........
Interesting Sparkey but not sure about putting Pack in the back four. Against Barnsley Trigger was the only one who tried to bring the ball down and play on the ground. I’ve still got a creak in my neck from watching that volleyball performance!
Agree about Pack - thought he had a good game against Barnsley. The point being if we switch to 4 at the back if Morro is not right yet - 2CB's/2FBs, then Pack can remain in midfield.
