Provisional squad of 30 named, no Matt Prior: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cricket/22028823 Why leave out one of the best wicket keepers AND batsmen in the game?
The ICC Champions Trophy begins today as does a feast of cricket with the top 8 teams battling it out and no associate teams cluttering up the fixture list. Who does everyone fancy to win? I'm going to go for England beating the West Indies in the final, South Africa will have their obligatory choke in the semi against England.
Trott and Bell scores per over: 3, 3, 5, 2, 4, 6, 4, 3 At this rate I can see England getting close to 200 runs.
Noticed the sections layout changed which makes it harder to get here. Forgot about this section. Been a good tournament so far.
South Africa have posted a fairly low total (239) against Pakistan, they could be all but out by this evening. The tournament is wide open.
There don't appear to be any real stand out sides to win the tourno, they have all got the ability to throw it away!! New Zealand are the best prepared and if England can get a full strength team on to the pitch we are definitely in with a shout. If I were to risk any of my hard earned on a prediction I might be tempted by the Windies but to be honest, other than Pakistan who's wheels have properly come off, I think the whole thing is wide open.
My West Indies bet not looking quite so good now - still if they win their last game they are through
Quite fancy the Black Caps to squeak this one but I think it will be close! That being said it is time to lump on the Aussies given my prediction ability!!
I fancy NZ to win too. Did before the start. Although how their batting went the other day I expect the chase to be a close one as they are more than capable of collapsing! I'm not so sure now Australia scrambled up to 243. Tough to call it.
Big decision there on the no ball. I think it he was just behind the line when he landed. Looks like we've got this now
