What a goal, what a performance!! That was a brilliant finish!!!! England beaten under Roy Hodgson for the first time.
ibrahimovich 4, liverpool, london and manchester 2. but what a goal, one of the all time greats. but...... why take three goalies to sweden when you have no intention of giving anyone but your number 1 a chance.
Yes bit of a waste of time for Ruddy. Interesting to see Forster get a call up, bet they had a few Norwich related conversations on the bench.
Great goal, but what the hell was Hart doing? He shouldn't have been out there. The fact that Ibrahimovic had an open goal to aim at means that the goal isn't as great as people are suggesting in my opinion.
I think the technique from Ibrahimovic to even attempt that shot was phenomenal. Open goal or not, that for me was one of, if not THE best goal I've ever seen.
Bollocks! I gave up on the game after about 88 minutes and got involved in some heavy duty nappy changing/burping action for the past 45 minutes or so and totally missed this 'wonder goal' so don't really know how good it was yet. Got to watch the bloody highlights for it now, sounds worth waiting for though
I despise him and I absolutely loathe Sweden at football. Great goal but he was gifted it by Hart excellent technique by Ibrahimovic though.
I'm not sure if you're jesting or not, but I think there's a very good chance that Ruddy would have stopped all of those! I really rate Joe Hart, but he's very out of form atm, both internationally and for Citeh, I think Roy missed a chance there to gee him up by playing Ruddy, we all know Hart is England's number one, but this was a friendly and an ideal situation for giving others a chance!
Great goal. One of the best iv ever seen! RE O.P: England not beaten for first time under Hodgson! Getting pissed off at people clutching at straws saying "officially the penalty shootout doesnt count" WE GOT BEATEN AGAIN FROM THE SPOT! Its a touch annoying.
Also Longsight, if you think it was just fluke youre an idiot. Thats like saying Maradona thought "i will just run with the ball and hope I get near englands goal", or beckhams halfway line goal was just a hit and hope, or rooneys overhead kick was a stab in the dark! Its about the immense technique which was absolutely faultless!
Had ruddy made the mistakes in that game that hart made, especially for the 4th he would het slated and his short England career would be over. But its ok, it was only joe hart so its ok! Also regarding ruddy going, the only plus note is that he carried on gettin coached by the clubs GK coach
