Just a quick pat on the back for old ollie getting promoted. He got an average side up to the prem rather like warnock. Good team spirit counts for a lot. Little story on ollie, couple of years back, blackpool were staying at hilton hotel in coventry for their match the following day. My gaffer, on a business evening at same venue spoke to ollie and mentioned my love for qpr. To my suprise, at 10pm that evening my mobile rang. The number displayed was my gaffer. What the hell does he want? I duly picked up the call to receive a bristolian accent none other than ollie himself. He chatted for a good ten minutes of his affection to qpr and how sad he was to see the situation with the then board of flavio and co. Could you imagine the likes of rednapp or hughes doing that? Think not. Great bloke ollie, but rather fear for palace in the prem like ourselves.
