We used to have a 148cm show jumping pony (one of the very best in Europe) who my daughter rode, representing GB. Now, guess who appears in her pedigree. Mill Reef, along with Tudor Minstrel, Northern Dancer, Sir Ivor and loads of well known sprinters. Not what one expects in a show jumping pedigree. She did look all class and looked every bit a thoroughbred
