    Team selection and tactics bang on. Couldn't have planned it any better. Some people may have bowed to media pressure / stories around Benny. His time will come, today we needed something else. And we had it!

    Couldn't watch the game tonight as I was working. Kept checking on the score throughout the evening though! Can't wait to watch the highlights :D

    True, but there was no good reason for Obertan to come on instead of him.
    Pardew is getting this whole Ben Arfa situation wrong.

    Im pretty certain Ben Arfa will start v Blackburn. And if he has a good game he should keep his place for QPR. Obertan is quicker so Pardew probably thought if defenders hit the ball upfield for the final couple of minutes to relieve pressure then Obertan has more chance of getting to it, holding it up, and killing some time.

    Personally we should keep the same formation for the next game. I thought R.Taylor did very well on the wing in place of Obertan. <badger>

    Perhaps, but in most cases when Obertan gets the ball it just ends up with the opposition shortly after anyway.
