After watching that display I have to say your team looked without life and without ideas Can fully see why you's don't win trophies, may of just been a one of game, but in my short life I would argue that was one of the worst games I've seen for a while Your views ?
Well, defensively we were better than feared. Could have been more effective at the front but this is the first game of the season and you expect players to not be at their sharpest. That said Arsenal do need to find a way of scoring and coming away with even a 1-0 in these situations.
Admittedly first game of the season, slow start, but you have to admit, there was nothing really creative in the centre of the park and gervinho class act for running down the wing, but no end product
Also whats this slow start excuse about - we normally do better in the first half of the Season under Wenger.
And Liverpool Were Simply Wonderful despite playing at home with most of their first choice players fit
We are always being accused of being "lightweight",and "entertaining". Would rather be a stick in the mud and earn a hard earned point than fail to deliver the result while entertaining.
Silly comment. He's obviously brought Liverpool into it because a) he's a Sunderland fan and you guys, y'know... had a game today. Not sure if you were aware. b) Liverpool failed to deliver against a North East side too, even with home advantage.
