....thinking that I'd had the most peculiar but simultaneously the most amazing dream. Then I looked at the BBC sports results page and realized it wasn't a dream after all!!!!!!!
Mate, after the tough times you've experienced of late, you of all people are entitled to a bit of happiness. Enjoy!
Thanks Aussie! I shall be having a few extra vodkas tonight I assure you! Now....if only we could do the double and beat Hull next Saturday too!
Yes it was a great feeling to wake up and remember that we actually won last night ...and away from home and in style! Long may it continue and I hope for a repeat on Saturday week. Hopefully we may be strengthened by the return of a few walking wounded...but if not, then perhaps there may be a few other youngsters who get a chanve to perform.
Agree with all the above.......supporters of the likes of Chelsea Man U and City, Arsenal etc etc would never have any idea what last night felt like. Rough with the smooth eh!!!
it never ceases to amaze me how 90 minutes can put such a different complexion on the season (and my mood). Yesterday i was totally convinced we were as good as down, now we're totally back in it. This is the small upside of supporting a not very good football team - one victory and it's like promotion all over again.
Go easy there BigChaz, next you'll be predicting a Champions League place is within reach. It certainly felt like promotion again when we went 2-0 up and you could hear the 400 faithful blasting out Ohhh Bobby Zamora!!!
I woke up this morning feeling a bit hows your father due to having a few celebratory beers. Let's just say it was not the most productive day at work but who cares, that win last night was like a being brought back to life with a mojo defibrillator. U RRRss!
UTR's ........... if your feeling 'hows your father' ................... you might need ( if your familiar with the expression ) 'the hair of the dog' to fix you up. The first one can be tough to digest but after that, they'll be flowing, just like the night before. I might go out in a 'sympathy vote' for you tomorrow night, just as a back up!
The way this season is going, no one is going to be out until the last day! Can you imagine the nail biter if all three bottom teams are all within 3 points of safety on the last day? Wild.
