I think you're supposed to precede your post with: "My name is wear_yellow. I wish I'd been there when Doyley scored..." This group is for you, w_y .
I whacked my head on the living room ceiling watching on the telly, scared the dogs half to death , and gotta right telling off from Mrs N,I remember it well
Watched this at home... Jumped up when we scored, and once I realised it was Lloyd, went mental - my house mate looked at me funny... I explained why, and he still looked at me funny - bloody egg-chaser!!
i've never gone so bonkers! lol...an amazing moment it was...! Next day i went to the shop and bought 4 of the t shirts lol
Watched on tv - wonder if my cheers were heard in St Malo? My ex hasn't got Sky Sports, so when I told my eldest the score on the Friday after, he was delighted and when I told him who scored, he didn't believe me until I showed him the repeat of the game which I'd recorded - I've never known a teenager apologise so fast!
I was thinking about this earlier. Do you reckon it was the most celebrated goal ever at Vicarage Road, excluding goals that took us up, took us through to the next round etc. As a 'goal for goal's sake' is it the most celebrated ever? I think so. There was a long standing ovation after the simply wild prolonged celebration. It wasn't just the usual going bananas, it was that, but it lasted longer and then there was also this feeling like there was some divine involvement.
I watched it via the computer and listened to Jon Marks going absolutely bananas. The trouble there is the sound comes through quite some time before the pictures. The bit that I will remeber most though is how the team had to show him how to celebrate.
Definitely ofh. I'm sorry that Cleverley had a tough time with us due to the ownership difficulties etc., but he will always have a place in my heart for showing Lloyd where to run. It was such a lovely selfless thing. He was just so happy for Lloyd. Top lad.
I think that the club has produced an atmosphere that makes most of the loanees very happy to be with us. I have the impression that a number of them would be quite happy to stay after their loan is completed if it were possible. Please Mr. B, don't upset the apple cart.
Ofhi think its because its a small group- anyone coming in will meet every one and vice versa rather than being part of a youth team where you have to hole your one of the percentage kept on
lol Norway, it was mine for a while, and now it sits happily on my mp4. When i need a smile, i listen to it, and it gets me excited all over again! lol
