Things were bad really bad during those times have a read of this musty http://www.swanstrust.co.uk/History.aspx
He's a good bloke is Jenkins. One of us. (as are the other directors I've met) How many Liverpool fans can have a pint with the Chairman and talk football on the same level, as we do on this forum? Most of the Premier Chairmen couldn't give 2 ****s about football and certainly aren't fans. Up until a couple of years ago (maybe still?) Jenkins and the other directors could be found in a bar at the end of Wind Street 2/3 times a week. Had a chat with him about the Swans in Chicago Rock one time also....Musty, Chicago Rock was a dive where you'd only go for a jump after exhausting all other avenues. As he said, "down to earth".
Terror i used to go and watch them train in llandarcy most days and jenkins was always very approachable and talked with you about the team he was just like a normal fan if you did not know who he was you would just think he was there as a fan watching the training tidy fella
