I was awful tonight. Worst I've ever played in my career. But we WON.......and that's the most important thing. Onwards and upwards #QPR

Honest! Worst I ever seen him. Only excuse is he was playing in the wrong position out right.

He couldn't buy a decent pass tonight, at least he's big enough to own up. Those who booed him off are a disgrace, that doesn't help anybody.

Fair play to him for his honesty, but I couldn't care less. We bloody won!

Abso flockin lutely!! What sort of fans boo their own Captain? The answer is about 10 000 QPR fans but not me - never!

I'm glad Sparky had the balls to take him off. We would not have won had he not.

    Emotionally wrecked but deliriously happy!!

Spot on mate, booing is unforgiveable. MH took him off so the point was made.

credit to him for admitting it. As a guy with a seemingly big ego that can't have been easy to say.

He should admit to being awful for the last few games.

I was so ashamed of some of out fans tonight. Morons! Never, never is it ok to boo a player because he's having a bad game, or a run of bad games. Especially when we need to be behind them.

You never hear big teams fans booing their players. We've obtained some real plastic fans who don't know what supporting a team is about. I hope we survive but if we do go down then hopefully we'll lose the plastics too.

The problem is that Barton is not a playmaker and a player who takes all the cornerkicks and freekicks. In my books he is a good tackler a ball winner and "never say die"-player. Why on earth he is playing in wrong position all the season? Good to hear he shows some honesty about his tonights performance. He was really a pony tonight. Still ,few of our so called supporters were much worse than him when they booed him off. I just dont get it............

Perhaps. But this is the first time I've heard Joey admit he's been sh*t. Could it be that giving him the bird has given him a stark reality check and he now realizes he's got to put in the graft?

Still.....He is our captain like it or not. Even he did have a very bad match you should not treat him like he was a Chelsea player.

You kind of contradicted yourself, you said the big teams don't boo, but plastics do?

Maybe so Igor but if its the kick up the behind he needed, it might work out to our advantage. I agree though, I wouldn't boo personally.

In every other way the atmosphere was amazing tonight. Booing our skipper was not.

He looked like he was playing with no confidence tonight, maybe because of the stick he's been getting! After so many of his longer pass efforts went the wrong way tonight, he cut them out and started passing shorter and safer like he'd lost faith himself.

He did block Kuyt shot on 6 yrd line before ½ hour mark, but that's really all he did today, really not his day.

FFS I am sorry but this bloke had it coming he has been given the captaincy of the footballing pride of west London ... Possibly the best city in the world. Don't start giving it all that he has been dreadful since he joined and I see that as natural behaviour from a patience set of fans over the months . I was booing the bastard back in the autumn as were most around me . Anyone who thinks he shouldn't have taken off is completely wrong IMO
MH gone up in my opinion also for doing that
