Go. Gone. Wipe the whole slate clean. We'll probably lose Van Persie, Walcott and a few others. But it doesn't matter anymore.

There is no future in this team. At least with the failing sides of the past few seasons you could say, "Yeah... but next year they'll be better!". We're totally ****ed at the moment and it's terrible that Wenger can't see this.

The problem is that he sees new signings as hazards (no pun intended). He thinks "If we sign a creative midfielder, it will alter the progress of Ramsey!" He seems to care more about development than end product. He'd be a good national team manager.

But whereas at the start of 2011, signing Arteta, Mertesacker, Santos and Benayoun could have led us to walking the league, now we need a dramatic overhall. New manager, COMPLETELY NEW TEAM, new owners.

I'd rather have 6th over 5th, tbh, but then 6th might still get Europa League if City win the CC/A top four side wins the FA cup.

So, if we finished fifth sixth, I could see Van Persie going, preferably to Real, for £40m. I would also see Walcott leaving to one of the teams that might actually buy him, £14m. Sagna would probably also leave, £20m to a big club, he's class. Others would stay because no-one would buy them, or they've signed long term deals, or they're young, or they actually love Arsenal. This includes Vermaelen because he's just signed a long term deal. Wenger would go.

A team without Signings after this:

    Szczesny
    Jenkinson Koscielny Vermaelen Santos
    Song Arteta
    Wilshere
    Arshavin Chamakh Gervinho

Terrible. That team could finish 9th at best, IMO.

A new manager would need to be brought in. I would pick out of: Martin O'Neill, David Moyes, Guus Hiddink, or, if they are somehow available, a huge target like Mourinho or Guardiola. Then sell the deadwood. Arshavin, Chamakh, Almunia, Diaby, Squillaci, Park and Gibbs. Sell the whole lot, might get £30m if lucky. Right, from all of that... boost it up a little, give the new manager a £120m war chest! Tie down Wilshere, Arteta, Koscielny, Szczesny, Song and Chamberlain to long term deals on higher wages that are similar to what clubs above us can offer. £120m left to spend.

Buy the following Realistic Targets: Demba Ba, Leighton Baines, Gregory Van Der Weil, Edinson Cavani, Kaka. Leaves £30m. Buy a backup goalkeeper, a backup striker, a backup winger, Backup defender.

    Leaving you with:

    Szczesny
    VDW Kosc Verm Baines
    Song Arteta Kaka Wilshere
    Ba Cavani

Subs: Backup Goalkeeper, Santos, Backup Defender, Backup Striker, Backup Winger, Chamberlain, Gervinho.

A transistion season, then we'll be back up there.

Or some **** to that effect. I understand I typed a lot of pointless ****, I just needed to get the rage out there.

Bit extreme, not sure Kaka or Cavani would go to a team outside CL though if you don't get top 4.

Seems like what you really want is for Arsenal to spend beyond their means and risk doing a Leeds/Portsmouth.

Mark my words - if this continues Wilshere will go ... there will be plenty after him.

Kroenke has it tied up in the bank. His asset is appreciating, shame about the playing staff.

Nice idea, but it won't happen... this is not FIFA 12 manager mode or Football manager... We need an overhaul though.

  8. Woe betied us when the money men like Gazidis and Kroenke came into the frame. How we get rid of them could well rest in the hands of the fans.

No you don't and besides no Champions League leaves about a £30mill hole and you're going to worsen the problem by increasing your wage bill considerably as well as paying net £90mill on transfers.

What are you talking about ? We've got loads of money. How do you think we have got our stadium debt down to circa £100m already ???? Plus our stadium debt is ring fenced meaning not playing CL football will not affect our operating costs ! The sale of property and the highest gate receipts in world football have put us way in front of our budget predictions.

the plan seems a bit drastic , i believe most of the players have the potential to be good enough .

The only weak part in the chain is Le Plop .

He has no idea of how to motivate players do perform.
He has no idea of how to adapt tactics to suit your opposition .

HE needs to be got shot of first .

Second Ramsey , give him a job as a ball boy or something.
Walcott , let him go to the magical world where defenders are ACTUALLY invisible and not just in his mind.

Buy a decent , yes Wenger i said DECENT striker to add depth and rotation so RVP is not ploughing a lone furrow.

When you have bought him , dont let the door hit your ass on the way out..

    Completely over the top.

How about Wenger just spends some ****ing money.

Wenger does'nt like spending for his own reasons but we should be worried why the board dont force his hand a little.
