    I saw us beat Fulham.

Other than that I haven't enjoyed a single moment at LR this season. Beating our racist neighbours was a giggle and I had a couple of days grace taking the piss at work but we soon came down to earth with a bump. A string of rather uninspiring draws, out of the cup to a League One side and now back to poor form in the Premiership.

There will need to be a serious discussion in the Grove household in the next couple of months. Money is tight and I can only afford to keep up my season ticket if we A) stay up and TF rewards our loyalty with either reduced prices or, B) we stay up and TF extends the period of freezing prices for those of us displaced from the Loft or, C) we go down and our Championship status is reflected in the ticket price.

I've had enough and don't think I can get enough enthusiasm together to last until May. I'll keep turning up and shouting "You R's!!" until the last kick but my heart isn't in it any longer and I can't wait for this sad arsed season to be done. Even if we achieve the long awaited miracle (been waiting for months and no sign yet) and scrape together enough points for survival it still won't stop this being the worst season I've ever witnessed.

Winning every match starting with Utd this weekend might change my mind of course but I've given up hope of this happening, too much of a realist I guess. Good luck to all of you who still believe but even the most loyal of you must be sick of humming "Always look on the bright side of life" by now.

Good read Grove. That is the sad reality though I still have a glimmer of hope based on our slightly less onerous run in and getting Remy fit and firing in those through balls from Adel.

I agree with you, Grove. There has been little to enjoy this season. Speaking as somebody that loves certainty, regardless of whether it is good news or bad, I'm really struggling with all things Rs, particularly after last season too.

Many will say that we should not give up hope, and they'll be right. I haven't, but the head still says relegation whilst the heart continues dreaming.

I have enjoyed every minute of it so far ... loved it understand some peoples disappointment but what a story and i hope its always like this. Cherish those moments when you walk into the ground ... lose the tactic rubbish and the debate its all about doing it for 90plus minutes and we have 12 chances to save ourselves some good maths so enjoy the ride ... If we fail then we were not good enough bury your disappointment it serves you nothing ... Man Utd on Saturday ... yes Manchester United are coming to town
Harold is here believe lads believe ... even if we are 9 points away Saturday evening then its still all on

whole heartily agree there Grove. It has felt like a sick dog that has needed to be put out of his misery and i'm sad to say that the energy has being zapped out of me and know that in my heart we are down and the quicker this season ends the better. I don't know if partly this has being due to us having no football last weekend but i've felt no need to keep on jumping onto Not606/NewsNow for the latest news on QPR as its just constant depressing snippets of bad news and if i'm honest i've felt better not reading all the stuff all the time. Then again come Saturday with a win against UTD just might bring me back to life again but i'm a realist and i doubt very much that will happen:angry:

Lots of sympathy for your OP, Grove. This is death by a thousand cuts....But just remember, you have to have the downs to really appreciate the ups. If we go down, and we probably will, we can rally. We have to clear out dead wood and bring in young and ambitious players who are proud to wear the hoops. The Championship is a highly competitive, highly engaging league - I loved it down there once we were contenders ie once NW came on board. We still have reputable owners who have gained invaluable experience in the footballing world. And we'll have parachute payments. We can do it all again.

Anyway, bring on ManU. Let's give the rest of this season a fcuking good go...

Agree with the rest of what you said although the most obvious ommission from the best parts of the season was Chelsea away. That win was up with the highlights not just of this season but as a QPR fan in general. I sat in corporate seats, so getting to celebrate in the middle of a Chelsea section was pretty special.

Also as moments go, taking the lead at West Spam, Spurs and even United were fun although short lived.

To pick you up on another important point though.
Price freeze- yes okay but I think that it is a bit cheeky to suggest reduced prices if we stay up. Now that TF and Bhatia are spending big on the likes of Samba and Remy and would add more if we stay up. I dont think a reduced price is logical.

Remember that if we go down remember that a price freeze in what we pay year on year is actually a price reduction. My £700 to sit in Gold section SA is £36.84 per game over the 19 games and over a championship season of 23 games this £30.43

Therefore which ever way you look at it I wouldnt expect your ticket to be cheaper next year. (except on a cost per game basis if we go down).

Re ticket prices. I read somewhere (The Observer maybe? Sorry I can't remember) that the rise in Sky money next season means PL clubs could halve ticket prices an still have the same revenue as this season.. wouldn't that be a nice gesture? - blooming miracle more like.

I too am resigned to relegation. What upsets me is the timing. After being finally being able to afford as a "one off" the £700 for a season ticket for the first time since my teens - well when I say afford, what I actually mean I was allowed to steal it from our remortgage extension building funds - and that is the season we are relegated and I dont think I have got anywhere near value for money.

That said, I will do my best between now and June to find the money to renew what I hope is a much reduced season ticket cost for 13/14 season.

Therefore at the moment, the thing that upsets me the most about the whole relegation scenario is being forced to sit through MOTD and then sit through the tedium of the Football League Show and wait for our 30secs coverage and have to listen to Steve Clungidge banging on talking absolute tripe whilst looking down at his notes to tell him what to say to Manish - and don't get me started on Lizzie Double-Barrel and her viewers comment section.

I can cope with all the rest that goes with relegation just not Saturday nights!

i thought i read somewhere on here that they were cancelling the Football League Show next season!

So far this season I have been present when we have collected 1 point (Norwich away) and the Cup win over the Baggies.

I guess it could have been worse...Norwich might've beaten us.

Time to put a Smiths LP on and lie down in a darkened room

Missed the Fulham home game as was away in Germany. Amazing to think I haven't seen us win at home all season and we are coming into march soon. Worst season I can remember.

Have to agree with the OP & I've stayed up intil 1am nearly every week to watch some drivel....Tried to convince myself that I'm not gonna do it but always end up watching.,....!
My thought go out to those of you who have paid a lot of good money and travelled around the country watching this ****e....Also those others, who like us have sacrificed a peacefull household on Sunday to stay up and watch a ludicrous times of the day and night...!

My sentiments exactly Grove, I turn up every Saturday home and away and after 10 mins wonder why I bother, I,m not doing anymore away games and if I didn't have a season ticket I would not bother going to the home games. Over the last two years we have witnessed some of the worst football I can remember for a long time at Loftus Road and like you have had enough. Next seasons season ticket will ultimately depend on price as I am not paying a fortune to watch more of what we are watching now.
