I think I`ve finally sussed outTony`s 3 year plan!! Emulate Tony Waddington!!!! TW started off by buying players who, shall we say, were just past their best(I think he started with the likes of Jacky Mudie ,Roy Vernon and Jimmy McIlroy) then went on to buy superstars like Banks,Greenhoff and one of the best players I`ve ever seen,Alan Hudson.Now think present acquisions,Woodgate,Upson(aaargh!!!),and if the papers are right we are trying to buy Crouch and Wright-Philips.Palacios is obviously the start of the younger generation!!
Joe I remember those player's too mate. How about we finish off with Messi, Defoe and erm why not just throw in another couple of C halfs while we're at it. And, when Gerrards fit he'd do nicely. Or is that asking for too much Joe.? WELL said Joe you are quite correct.
